Canes getting on top now. Just muscled the way forward over several phases and scores a try in the corner. Converted again. 21-5 with 15min left

    Rebels 2016

After several phases in the 22 the canes break a tackle in the centres and score in the corner. Converted to give the canes a 14-5 lead. Cannot give players as having trouble recognising most of them

    Rebels 2016

Nice inside pass one off the ruck leads to a break and a try to the Rebs. Conversion missed. 7-5

Rebels fumble leads to a Canes intercept and run 55m to score the first try. 7-0 to canes

I've turned up. A bewdiful night for rugby. Both teams are passing up shots at goal and not a night for ball skills. 0-0 just at oranges. Both sides had time within 5m of goal but knocked on.

This sort of untimatum is overdue IMHO. It should not have taken the international embarrassment of a wallabies match to cause this action. It should have happened after the second home game. I could not even cheer shipperly's try when Julian Savea tripped in the broken turf. On a side note...

Don't mind the halves practicing box kicks. It's part of the game and we are rubbish at them. Would have loved to hear that the rest were practicing chasing kicks. We must have the slowest kick chase in the sup. What we need is practice receiving box kicks, especially the shirt ones. All our...

Rebels v Force Rd 14 Sun 29th May

I thought Inman had his best attacking game for a long time. Good running lines. The dummy and pass to set up Sefa. Overall it was a low quality game but much better game than last year's one. This meets my pre match requirement so I will take will take that, and the win ;-)

Finals spoilers? Are the rebels still a finals chance? I would settle for a better game than what was served up last year at this venue although I have no double that your vies of that match may be different to mine Moono

Or all the irate wallabies fans trying to get their tickets. Will keep trying.

What number did you use? I have tried 13 28 49 several times in the last hour but all I get is an engaged signal.

    Rebels v Chiefs, Round 13, 21 May 2016

I think we will get out pants pulled down in this one but in the spirit of blind GAGR optimism here we go. Cruden to have a shocker and pass three incercept tries. Rebel front row to play out of their skins, locks out jump the chiefs locks and McMahon dominate Cane in the back row. Chiefs wide...

    Rebels 2016

I'd stick with Jack D. Harris has been tried at 10 a few times for the reds and us and it does not work. Jack D did a few silly things on the weekend but did some really good stuff too. Having both playmakers on with one at 10 and the other at 15 gives the attack a nice edge. It also means we...

    Rebels v Brumbies, Round 12, 13th May 2016

I agree with you. It was well done. I was just disappointed that it had to be Pocock to pprovide the brains again. Ideally several players would have been ready to tell him. It's a bit like Ardie Savea's try a few weeks ago. He knew the rule, the match situation and got a try whilst our guys...

    Rebels v Brumbies, Round 12, 13th May 2016

I am actually a bit disappointed by that. The all blacks year after year have used loopeholes or the refs interpretation to their advantage. Many have called it cynical or even cheating, myself included once but in reality it is intelligent play and awareness of the situation. Time and time...

    Rebels 2016

Mine said last Friday or early this week. I guess Tuesday can still be considered early. Wonder what the stuff up is. Should we start a "theories why wallabies tickets are late" thread. Nothing like a GAGR conspiracy thread to keep the blood warm while waiting for the next rebels game.

    Rebels v Brumbies, Round 12, 13th May 2016

No point blaming the ref. Sure he played his part but it was our errors and missed tackles that gat us in those situations. Some great defense until the last 20 min then our structure went missing. Same as the attack. Was looking good until the replacements came on (Jordy aside) then offered...

Love Godwin as a player but I think he would do better at the ponies under Larkham and as a like for like replacement for Tomoua. Wouldn't be upset to see him wear the five star though.

    Rebels 2016

He looks like an awesome attacking player. My question is how are his defensive qualities particularly kicking. He might get away without a kick at soup level but if he is slated for the wobs then it can get us found out as teams kick to out backs and pin us in our half. Saw it a few times last...
