On sadder note, can a club fall any harder than Chatswood have in the last 10 years? Couldnt beat them at home in 05 with 4 teams, now winless at the bottom of 6th div. Could they fold? I even remember recruitment signs in the carpark of Naremburm oval in 03, Gordon's training ground!

    Penrith Emus

Would it be a better idea long term to create a league in the Penrith area? New clubs, it would take time and NEED the NSWRU to get behind it but its a big area. Maybe not but how long does the current situation drag on for? Is the map in the NSWRU office miss everything west of Granville?

    Shute Shield 2012

Wow, how sad, that can only weaken this once fine comp, so the Randwicks/Unis will now raid the subbies competition?

The 1st div coach who went on to be President from a few years back did some damage playing favourites. Hope they get it sorted, some good work done a few years ago when you were feilding 7 teams

Why do they keep reinventing the wheel?4 teama in div 4? How is that going keep clubs interested??? Div4 is the two headed cousin of Subbies rugby, FFS! Thats tough on Hills, they have better juniors than Brothers...do Brothers have any? They can beat anyone at home....I really hate their pitch always dry and potholed. Im not in favour of giving old boy clubs a leg up over community clubs, however if they deserve to go up by being Club champ...

I always used to ask that question, Waverley College are literally across the road. I was told they haver an "arrangement" with Randwick and players are encouraged to go to Randwick

I used to play for the Waves, tough times back then and glad they recovered even though we were in 1st div back then, I think the itinerant side of players is a big hinderance, players need to stay not be changing over every couple of years, helps on the social side though. The new grandstand...
