    Wallabies v All Blacks Sydney

The Cruden replacement says a lot. Yeah, we were trying to be entertaining and have some fun..but OK, we're just going to go ahead and win the fucking game now, thanks for coming. I hate Deans speak. I think he doesn't understand the Aussie mentality. We don't need a tree hugging hippie. We...

    Gnostic's - Wallaby Player ratings V ABs Sydney 11/09/2010

I'd rather that than collapsing a la Baxter & conceding 3 penalties. Thought the ABs were going early all night, Lawrence didn't ping them though. He had a very random game did Lawrence. Fatcat may as well having been sitting in the stands for all the good he did us in general play.

    Shute Shield 2010

Randwick just got smashed in the contact zones. Not a good sign for Manly's finals chances that they couldn't pile on the points with such an advantage. They lack creativity in midfield and miss D'Arcy's influence horribly. Does someone know what the story was in the reserve grade game ...

    Gnostic's - Wallaby Player ratings V ABs Sydney 11/09/2010

Ma'afu got through approximately 500 million times more work than Benn Robinson did. Child, please. Stephen Moore was immense, was everywhere and cleaned up a lot of shit. Along with McCalman was the pick of the forwards.

    Wallabies v All Blacks Sydney

Great post, welcome aboard. I can't remember the ABs playing worse. They were very flat and made a bucketload of uncharacteristic mistakes. And still they just managed to graft together and pull out a win despite the Wallabies having dominated for 60 minutes. An immense choke job by our guys...

MOTM 3-2-1 Wallabies vs All Blacks, Sydney

Cast side ? He has been given chances and hasn't taken them. He was toothless in the Aus BaaBaa games. He kicks incessantly. I don't think he was that good tonight either. He didn't convert his try scoring opportunity. In the 2nd half, he opted to run inside his own 40 at one stage & the ABs...

    Matt Giteau

I wasn't sure if that reaction was a 'thanks for Bloemfontein' or a 'About bloody time, Gits is having a shocker'.

    Wallabies v All Blacks Sydney

Er, we can't ? What, we all have to do an Austin now and put together a 10 minute video clip every day ? Anyway, I'm less concerned with halfback defence and more concerned with midfield and back 3. ABs & Boks have been murdering us there when they have the ball. One thing I'd like to see...

    Wallabies vs Boks Bloemfontein

Agreed. Our youngsters were up against a side consisting of RWC 2007 winners, with 750 caps between them. The players have been saying they feel they are close to breaking through. And that's what - just our 4th win in South Africa ? Their reaction at fulltime said it all.

    Wallabies vs Boks Bloemfontein

The final one was for sealing the ball off. The Boks were deliberately preventing a contest at the ruck. I got excited as soon as I saw what they were doing and had a feeling it was going to backfire on them. Excellent refereeing - what the Boks were doing is not in the spirit of the game.

MOTM 3-2-1 Wallabies vs Boks Bloemfontein

McCalman had a bloody good debut. Promising signs - more beef than Brown, loves a scrap, was in the thick of the action. Dropped off some tackles though, needs to fix that. Hard to criticise Robinson. The fatties are going to struggle when games are played at such incredible pace.

    Wallabies vs Boks Bloemfontein

Yeah, its a serious worry. Inexperience. Poor defence. General lack of composure under pressure. Poor conditioning ? But the tide may have just turned. Let's just enjoy that win for now and appreciate a cracking match, it had everything.

    the Real Deal Kurtley Beale!!!!!!

I'm exhausted, completely drained. Imagine how the players must feel.

MOTM 3-2-1 Wallabies vs Boks Bloemfontein

    3. Beale. Game on the line in the 80th minute. Degree of difficulty 9.9. And he delivered. 2. Burgess. While others around him were choking under pressure and falling apart, he defended like a demon, injected much needed energy and attacked relentlessly. His quick tap led to the try that put us...

    Wallabies vs Boks Bloemfontein

Incredible game. A white knuckle roller coaster ride. With a miracle finish you couldn't have scripted. I thought it was heading for the greatest choke in rugby history. We showed no bottle in the 2nd half, other than Burgess off the bench. We got lucky, it was a miracle escape. But this might...

    the Real Deal Kurtley Beale!!!!!!

He folded under pressure in the second half. What was with the falcon ? So I completely wrote off his chances. 55 metres out. 80 minutes gone. Legs heavy. Weight of the world on his shoulders. Screaming Bok fans. Impossible kick from the sideline. His first goal kick of the game. NEVER IN...

    The Wallabies use of 13

Correct. The key is inept inside centre play. Watch Austin's Wallaby backline highlights and notice the lines Tim Horan runs. He never runs across field. Centre play #101 - run north south not east west. There is nothing more destructive to a backline than an East-West centre. That is beyond...
