    Argies in the 4N

I hope he will! Regarding the Argies playing in Europe, the IRB with the ERC has passed a law saying the players have to be available for national selection until september so no worries for them, the best players can play the Four Nations. Agustin Pichot is trying to create a franchise based...

    Argies in the 4N

For those who follow the Vodacom Cup in SA, don't forget that it was the Pampas XV team, a representative team of Argentinians amateurs that won the last edition without losing any game. So I believe that despite the retirement (this year or soon) of Ledesma, Contepomi, Roncero, Scelzo etc...

France at the Rugby World Cup 2011

True... but there are two entities, one for the amateurs (managing the national team) and one for the professionals In England they found an agreement, in France they can't.... the amateurs are always complaining about old school values whereas the pros have economic and performance issues.

France at the Rugby World Cup 2011

Yes but a nation who wants to win a world cup already got a high level number 10, not a guy that suddently becomes the new best 10 in the country after having played number 9 for four years! It is another ridiculous decision from Lievremont.

I maybe missed one departure H: Charles, Whittaker P: Cowan, Faulkner, Longbottom, Ma'afu 2L: Battye, Lynn, Sharpe, Wykes 3L: Brown, Hodgson, McCaffrey, McCalman, Pocock SH: Sheehan, Swanepoel, Stannard, Turner FH: Ripia, Seymour C: Fairbanks, Sidey, Stanley, Tupou...

France at the Rugby World Cup 2011

Je suis sérieux! It was only Japan and Canada.... and we have already shown too much mistakes... For three years now we were not able to build a team and now the weaknesses are too important. You will see pretty soon the limits of France. We only have a scrum, and without Nicolas Mas it will be...

France at the Rugby World Cup 2011

Doussain was playing 10 and Bézy 9 for Toulouse before they exchange the roles last year or the year before I guess. I like Doussain and I believe he has a really strong potential but the issue is that we need a 10 to replace Skrela (who was already a calamity). Wiesniewski could have suited...

    Waratahs 2012

I have just seen that the Tahs website has updated its players for 2012. No sign of Adam Ashley Cooper! But we can see Pretoris, Foley and Petersen.

    Western Force 2012

There was quite a buzz about it in the French rugby media. Mothers are apparently the bosses of the families... but I don't know if it is true! Anyway... if you are interested, I have just posted another interview with Richard Graham. Please feel free to give me your feedback...

He hasn't been in France since the beginning of 2011... quite an imbroglio with Clermont. He went back for christmas in Fiji where his mother wanted him to marry an air hostess from Air New Zeland. As he met another girl three years ago and gives her a child, he didn't want to marry the other...

Rougerie? Hate this guy... liability But regarding Nalaga, he had a pretty bad year as he was stucked in Fiji and couldn't play for Clermont. If he can play at the level he had between 2008 and 2010, he will be a great asset for the Force.

Potential upsets at this years WC - year of the minnow?

No Italy was stronger pre Six Nations, they had already beaten some Celtic Nations and had pretty good results against France and UK. They also had a decent national championship whereas the Georgian one is far from that. Great forward pack of course but as well good back like Diego Dominguez or...

Potential upsets at this years WC - year of the minnow?

They've got some pretty good props, one impressive guy in the backrow with Gorgodze but that's all... If the Scots take them seriously, they shouldn't worry that much. There is still a gap between the Six Nations countries and the European B Tournament ones. Nevertheless they are now...
