    Wallabies 2024

Wales were well organised and all seemed to know their role. They lost their playmaker after 10 minutes, which I thought would disrupt them and Anscombe comes off the bench and looked like he had been in the role all along.

You would think that if that were the case then he would come out and say 'I was just helping them with their selection s'.

Problem there is that history shows Eddie turns over assistants as he is hard to work with. The whole coaching development in Australia needs to be looked at so we are bringing on coaches and giving them a pathway that helps them to develop.

    Wallabies 2024

Kerevi has offered little this year, thought he was just slowly getting back from injury during the RC games but not much has changed. Time to move on from him. We don't seem to get much benefit from his experience. Now really is the time to focus on future development.

    Rugby World Cup 2023

Reg, do you know what the writing next to their name relates to? I had thought it might be clubs initially but there doesn't seem to be any duplications. Family group maybe? I would be interested in seeing who they all play got, or used to play for (former nations etc).

Based on that matchup Brothers look to have the edge on experience. Wilson, Creighton (in great form last few weeks), and Stewart make for a formidable lineup.

Agree on the region's but Townsville didn't seem to be successful. Maybe they marketed it poorly, rugby marketing hasn't been great. Possibly other locations should be trialled as well - Cairns, Mackay etc, although TV facilities might be the issue.

I disagree in regard to 10's. NSW and Qld didn't exactly have outstanding 10's showing they should be picked for RWC. Of 10's playing Super Rugby in Australia Gordon stood out, and I would say Noah was next due to his experience. JOC (James O'Connor) can cover it but not 1st choice, Tom Lynagh is too new, Tahs couldn't...

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

If Taniela is out for 6 weeks isn't it a risk to take him to the RWC? He will be severely lacking in match fitness so will have barely played this year.

I don't think anyone is writing off Bond considering their results this year. Good to see them going so well and hope that they are generating plenty of local support.

So do they persist with Kerevi and allow him to get back up to speed in test matches? He looked all over the place in defence last night, and yes he was playing 13 but it's not like normally he is in the forwards and got chucked into the backs. Just seemed all over the place, which a player of...

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

Question re defensive halfback position at scrums - I thought this year we had a law change so that the defending 9 couldn't hang around the back of the scrum to disrupt the 9 who had fed the scrum. Was that just a Super Rugby law change? Asking because White was all over the Argie halfback at...

'Haas was hit with a two-year good behaviour bond in February, 2021, after pleading guilty to intimidating police and using offensive language. He was fined and stood down by the Broncos in 2019 for refusing to co-operate with an investigation being carried out by the integrity unit. He was...

The people who can do something about it (referrees, QPR) need to be notified by your mate (who apparently heard it). Nothing anyone here can do. Coach will deny saying it if there is no actual recording or other witnesses but if there is a report of it then there is a record.

Nongorr is worth further development, very young and inexperienced for a prop, he will improve. The other 2 should be nowhere near a gold jersey.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Overall South Africa were in a different class to Australia. The debutant 10 for Boks looked good, 9 was effective and the little winger was great. Wallaby forwards failed to make much impact - I have never been a fan of Skelton, for such a big man he goes to ground too easily and he certainly...

Centres have to understand defence. Vunivalu gets out of position a lot and is slow to chase, opposition teams would love it.

Is Hooper really an outstanding leader? Great player and I always thought he had a 'follow me' type of captaincy but didn't notice him being very effective on field in talking to players, communicating referee's instructions and changing approaches etc.
