    Ideas for NRC

These trial laws are so predictably boring. The accumulated penalties for yellow cards has always been too hard to quantify or make explicit. Now it will just create more negative tactics to play for the yellow. Drop outs for held up... How about just a 22m tap to the attacking team, which...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Doesn't Hooper still play for the Brumbies?

    RD 15: Sunwolves v Rebels

I have two wallaby picks. FF (Folau Fainga'a) and Mafi. Ulese could very much get in there. I'm open, I'm a Wallabies fan and the Rebels are my son's team so I have a soft spot for them, but I think Ulese has got to do what the image says.

    RD 15: Sunwolves v Rebels

I don't think Ulese should be anywhere near anything other than pipping Roach for a bench spot unless there is some quantifiable effect he has on the game. Monstering the SW scrum as a sub is only a tick however as he probably carried Ainsley.

I mean his line should be fine, hope we're on the same page.

R15: Waratahs vs Jaguares @ Western Sydney Stadium - Saturday 25 May 2019

BRaveheart. I think there are a lot of punters on the FOP who are just disillusioned by the wallabies being 7th and 8th in the world, rightfully think we should be 4th at worst, and are looking for scapegoats. I've seen the same thing with the Socceroos fans and their treatment of Robbie Kruse...

    RD 15: Sunwolves v Rebels

There is a summation of force from your legs into most throwing. I've never thrown a lineout but played a decent level of bball and did and ACL last 13 months ago, the small movement control there makes it harder to consistently output the 'length' of the throw. I don't know how good he was pre...

R15: Waratahs vs Jaguares @ Western Sydney Stadium - Saturday 25 May 2019

Cheika will be licking his lips at the probability of starting his wallaby camp a couple of weeks early. No calf will be less than 110% before the rugby world cup.

Robbie Deans might not have the voice for commentary but he was extremely insightful. Very much improved the product.

Does anyone know the game clock time when seconds clears out Hooper?

    Rd 12: Hurricanes vs Rebels - 04/05 - 3:15pm Westpac Stadium, Wellington

Hopefully they're back in the groove after some poor defense in the first half. Genia needs to bin his box kick. Surely you throw it back for a Hodge clearance down the middle and allow Marika to do the only thing he is world class at and chase it.

Rd 10: Waratahs vs Rebels @ SCG, Saturday 20 April

Tahs miss touch off a penalty twice. First time 'holy-shit', second 'foley-shit'.

Brumbies vs Crusaders 6th April - Christchurch Stadium

"David Pocock’s final season with the Brumbies is being crippled by the calf injury he sustained on the opening day of the Wallabies camp in Sydney, with the flanker expected to miss the match against the Crusaders in Christchurch on Saturday."

    Round 6: Waratahs v Crusaders - Saturday 23 March @ SCG

I never kicked for goal in rugby but I still don't know why they go so hard on conversions [I get penalties as they want them to go dead if they miss]. Trying to slam it every time is problematic. Kickers should be trained to wind it back for conversions, like a second serve in tennis (may I...

    Round 6: Waratahs v Crusaders - Saturday 23 March @ SCG

I read a Matt Burke article saying they are placing the ball on the tee wrong... I guess he knows its not a form thing having also been in a major one resulting in a premature end to his super rugby career.

Crotty resorting to the tactic that got the saders their only points this game.

    Round 6: Waratahs v Crusaders - Saturday 23 March @ SCG

Foleys punt kicking has looked pretty damn good this game. Looks like he has another 10m in him this season.

Tahs should get this now. I wish Beale wasn't on though, he looks out of sorts.
