    Rebels 2012

Do you all really believe Lloyd Johannson will play many games. He has disappeared in Italy and Japan for some time now and I'm not quite sure of its level.

    Sonny Bill

General behavior, his agent... Also (not his fault) the way people react when he got the ball as if what he was doing was that impressive. I'm not impressed at all by him on the field, he got there thanks to his league reputation and not his union achievements, but that is quite common now. And...

    Sonny Bill

As League is not showed in France I'm pretty happy to see him moving back to NRL. I won't be forced to see his face again. I really can't stand the guy. And not seeing him back in Top 14 is also a huge satisfaction.

Willie Mason could sign for Toulon

He hasn't been realesed yet but Mason is actively searching for a club to play NRL 2012. I'm not sure he is training anymore... he might be the 5th n°13 of the club behind Bastareaud, Lovobalavu, Messina and a youngster

Things that get up my nose about rugby these days

I can add - Differences about interpretations of the laws by northern and southern refs. - Differences about sanctions for a same fault (Eye Gouge: Six weeks for Burger - 1 and half year for Attoub). - Too much games in both continents (even worse in the south due to the long distances). We...

Bernard Lapasset re-elected IRB boss, Oregan Hoskins vice chairman

I'm not a big fan of Lapasset and of my federation but the advantage he got over Beaumont is that its strategy is far more global. Thanks to Lapasset Sevens will be an olympic sport and even if the old unions are scared to see the XV's code lose influence, I'm sure it won't happen. He also want...

Willie Mason could sign for Toulon

Change of coach with Saint André taking over the French National Team. Now it is Bernard Laporte in charge and he doesn't like Mason, stating he has no skills and no time to learn Union. He has youngsters he prefers to launch. And Mason is quite expensive.

    Aussies abroad 2011-12

Yep I agree for Tomiki who is registered as a Tongian but I believe it is a mistake. Rokobaro is registered as a Fijian that's why I missed him.

Apparently he was going to a wedding in South Africa but stopped in France as it was "on the way". It was last week end.

Here is the list of Aussies in the French two professional divisions: TOP 14 AGEN: Pat O'Connor - Junior Pelesasa BAYONNE: Mark Chisholm BIARRITZ: Dane Haylett Petty - Talalelei Gray BORDEAUX: Justin Purll - Cameron Treloar - Leroy Houston - Blair Connor BRIVE: Poutasi Luafutu CLERMONT: Brock...

    Aussies abroad 2011-12

Francis Fainifo is doing well with Stade Français and surprisingly David Lyons too. Fainifo is becoming a fan favourite, especially with the kids. Dane Haylett Petty is also doing a great job at Biarritz. He's one of the few in that team who plays at a high level.

Why not it is always a good experience. Club rugby in Australie is far more fun than in France. I did the same but in Sydney Subbies.
