All these Aus local derbies ...................... better?

Argentina already have a team playing in our Vodacom Competion second year running. Last year they were station in Stellenbosch, this year it will be Potchefstroom. Pretty sure they'll add the Kings with SA lot, the Argies in the Aus conferense and NZ can easily slot in their conferense another...

    Meyer sounds Super 15 warning

From a Springbok perspective I am glad the depth of fatties is with the Sharks (John Smit), the locks (Matfield and Bakkies) and scrummy (FdP) with the Brutes and Stormers midfielders (Jean and Jac Fourie). This lot have to be rotate carefully with the likes of the Doep Broers and Beast, Klein...

All these Aus local derbies ...................... better?

Thats where you got it wrong. Griquas and Cheetahs form one franchise. There were lots of maoning and groaning and even court case when Bjorn Basson was sold to the Brutes by Griquas from the Tin Ear S14 franchise. The EP Kings still havent form unitity with SWD and Border as we speak. No way...

    Melbourne Rebels 2011

Ruaan could still play WP U21 this year. Look pretty strong in the scrums in the matches I watch him. JP did not made the usual Paarl Gym first XV but look like he sure is a good talent aswell. Both are big units and sure have a lot of ball sense. The good thing about them and JP du Plessis is...

Oh and James Kanama also playing for the Lions this year.

    Tim Lanes kid

Maybe rugby but cricket I beg differ. Tahir from Pakistan made his way just now in the Protea squad and there is some Poms playing in our domestic cricket and CC rugby. KP as an example did prepare for the Ashes in our local CC cricket league.

Sam Lane has just been picked for SA U20 final trials South Africa Under-20 (revised): Fullbacks: Jaco van Tonder (Sharks), Ulrich Beyers (Blue Bulls), Riaan Britz (Free State). Wings: Courtnall Skosana (Blue Bulls), Emil Schwarz (Sharks), Mandla Dube (Sharks). Centres: Francois...

All these Aus local derbies ...................... better?

They surely dont had the balls. I think the CC will move in the Vodacom Cups place (because of the time frame) and will be a degraded competition with time. Pretty sure the current S15 will be the S18 in a year or two's time. Super Rugby will never be the same as from this year. Pretty sure...

Paarl Gym 150th year & Ruaan Smith

Good on him Oom Lee. The Lions offered JP du Plessis a junior contract worth 5 K compare to the Rebels 50 K per month. In Ruans case it was easier, look like the family is settling now in Aus. WP have some great young fatties coming through at the moment and on the weekend young Kitshoff...

All these Aus local derbies ...................... better?

By the way Super Rugby and CC rugby have a huge differense. Super franchises aint the traditional CC province. Changing the CC province will kill our rugby. NZ is currently doing this and they'll pay a heftic price for this.

All these Aus local derbies ...................... better?

The funny thing of this all, hope WJ copy here, SA still attrack the most supporters to the matches and by far the most TV viewers , giving Sanzar the biggest financial boost from the supporters. Saw now the Vodacom Cup Competition (not included in Jake Whites figures) have been change from...

Here you go, on our old food thread Suppose you lot have nice sunny weather to hang biltong. I use a paper clip bending the small hook out to hook on a grill (A braai Grill is a the best place to hang them, can also use your washing line but have to gaurd the meat)and the bigger one to hook...
