    Force v Stormers - 2011R06

I like the Stormers coaches approach of not playing 100% fit players. Schalkie and Elstadt not not there yet and more important to start with fit players. Pieter Louw is playing outstanding rugby at the moment and no reason to try and haste Schalkie back. Also think Jean de Villiers is a good...

Springboks out with the old & in with the new?

The Bok WC team is pretty much cast in stone. Snor wont change that easy and players from the outside will have to play out of their skin to get in. Think its rather easier to find those borderline players. The squad will be Frans Steyn, Aplon, Habana, JP Pietersen, (Basson/Mvovo), Jac Fourie...

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

Sorry a tramped condense milk tin (their supporters actually wear them around their heads tied) look like a cauli ear.

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

Tin Ears in afrikaans = BlikOre = Cauliflower Ears in rugby terms. They produced some fattie (props) legends in the good old days and thats where the name come from.

I have never seen Frans Viljoen ever kicking a rugby ball all my life?

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

No humidity, Durban the only SA city who have similiar conditions. The Tin Ears play well there for yonks. They have Dr Derick Coetzee , part of the 2007 WC team, on board and will have them well prepared. In fact they claimed they have never been better conditioned compare to the past.

Stats: Super 15, Week 5 There were first wins for the Cheetahs and the Force this weekend. In fact for the Cheetahs it was their first Super Rugby win abroad. We give some stats from the matches. If you want to know the leasts and the mosts, a lot of them are here - tries, penalties...

    SA Conferense and Derbies

Bliksem would have been great to watch that one live. Think they'll put Bakkies away for a long time after the Duvenhage ckeanout, myself also lost my faith in him. I am more worried about Morne and FdP's form, Spies also, they look like Graeme Smith at the moment, sure about their places and...

    Reds vs Cheetahs - 2011R06

Andries Strauss and Frans Viljoen out injured. Barry Geel and Louw on their way to Aus. Big ask for the Tin Ears. Last year after they draw against the Chief they were a different team, hope they will repeat that.

    Force v Stormers - 2011R06

Stormers have real depth this year. Their Vodacom side also beat the Brutes on Loftus and mostly youngsters in that side. The one youngster in the Stormers team that have been pretty impressive thus far is Elstad, flanker made a lock, he injured himself and will be out meaning Steenkamp (younger...

Tin Ears = Cauliflower Ears. They produce some legend fatties over the years.

    Force v Stormers - 2011R06

Schalkie will be back for this one. The Farce impressed me this weekend against the Lions who has been disappointing again. Their physicalty and scrums was a bit of a eye opener for me and with Sheppard they will always be good in the line outs. That said after watching the Stormers climbing...

    Cheetahs vs Waratahs - 2011R05

Tried to tell ya , this is what most SA CC supporters (specially the Sharks) know about them. They have this ability to strike when you write them off. Was waiting many a year for them to do the same on tour in SupeRugby. Those trying to get excuses to ease the Tah pain, no excuse for...

    Cheetahs vs Waratahs - 2011R05

Thats probably the problem, no Kiwi team has beaten the Stormers since May 2009, not even the mighty Saders have this kind of a record going.

    Cheetahs vs Waratahs - 2011R05

Why do you say that? Last time we put 40 past them on Newlands and nothing have change since. We'll see when we meet them again on the same venue.

    SA Conferense and Derbies

Think we deserve some silverware beating the Brutes at Loftus. Climbing Everest the way they did yesterday was massive for the players and supporters. 50,000 supporters at Loftus show this is still the game in SA. Our backline look threatening and the srums was outstanding. Brutes need some...
