    I dont really mean this year, but just as a policy, should the coaches be aiming to win the RWC, or aiming to win the Tri Nations? At the moment I think Deans views the Tri Nations as some sort of unfortunate chore the Wallabies have to do every year before they can jog off the the RWC.

    It's clear that we all agree that the front row needed to be blooded now, and it's good that they have been. The real talking point is the method of blooding used by Deans, and also the players selected.

    I disagree, HG. I think the old guard should have been picked. Deans should have picked a scrum that would achieve parity and then blood the roughies from the bench.     en force er, if you want Pocock to have a bigger impact being second man to the breakdown, blindside isn't the place to put him. He would be better off going to 8 ala Phil Waugh. But, having said that, the tactic isn't exactly tried and tested. What about using a left/right flanker system?
