As unaccustomed as I am to making speeches ...

I believe "Forger" is in line with the current Wallaby ads, though...

That's a tough decision, I don't think ACTC is wrong in choosing Weepu over Genia. Both are class players, I think right now I'd probably choose Weepu too. The goal kicking is a good additional skill that Genia doesn't have.

I don't Kaplan's bias had anything to do with it. He got to see it once; fast motion, no HD vision, adrenaline pumping. Then he had about 4 seconds to make a decision. I'm not saying it was an illegal hit.

    Ideas for Australian Rugby Union

Heaps of people refer to League as NRL. In fact, I'd say that rugby is the exception, as most people in Sydney call "Australian" Rules AFL.

Is anyone else on G&GR Italian or does anyone travel to Italy a lot? I'm from Dignano in Udine, a province pretty close to Treviso.

    Player Nick Names

There are a few players going around with just massive jawlines; in my house most of them get the same nickname: "The Crimson Chin", named after a superhero off a show we used to watch as kids. His only power was having a massive chin that he used to bash villains with.

IIRC, a few posters here mentioned only Pocock and Robinson could challenge for spots in the AB's team. So it's "The All Blacks ft. Bam Bam and Fat-cat"?

If I thought you were capable I'd say yes. :fishing Of course not.

I know he's a good defender, but you can't just say "Burgess is a better defender than Genia" without any reasoning or evidence. I hope Burgo gets some time off the bench this week; by all accounts, the energy he brought to the field was a major factor in getting the Wob's over the line in...

    Wallabies v All Blacks Sydney

Sort of like "the best defence is a good attack"? I'd sort of agree with this. Constantly putting the AB's on the back foot when we have the ball will result in defensive lapses by them. The only problem I have is that the AB's have shown how good they are on the counter-attack this year; if...

Anything to back that up? Stand alone statements are rarely convincing arguments.

Fuck's sake. Edmonds? Hopefully Ma'afu and Slipper are used in a tag team like last week.

    mitchell out

Cummins? No thank you. I think he has long term potential, but if we want our own version of Habana (in last weeks form), someone to abandon the wing in defense or rush up into no mans land, sure, he's the guy for the job. McCabe may be a good pick, can't comment as I've only seen him play...
