Brumbies v British & Irish Lions Tuesday 18 June 2013

Good luck to the Smith Twins, they came some way since I told you about them in the schoolboy section. One chance in a million to play teh Lions!

JJ will never be a Mossie, his hands is a bit of a problem plus he'll never run the same lines. Anyway wont mind if he get to that level. I'd like to see Serfontein in 13, he have all the skills (speed/line breaking/off load/finishing/defense) to be a Springbok legend, even greater then Mossie.

Spoes is nowhere, dont even shine on S15 level, needs to go to 7s like Kankowski. Again I'll chuck in Brussouw in the 6,7,8 positions.

I am not to worried about Flo's honeymoon, he may injured himself. Best time now to have a look at the full squad and give others a chance against the skirt wearers. JdV , Habana, Steyn and Jannie should be rested for this one.

Playing to the ball means you have to do the two duties anyway. Brussouw is a tiger playing to the ball, by far the best one in SA.

He is all over the rucks, he and Flo together will be potent.

Our ruck cleaning was bad. You can have any 9 but if the rucks dont get cleaned, he'll play like dog shite. We need Brussouw urgently. Vok I cant understand why he isnt in the team. Madness.

At least we dont get that ugly up and unders the others keep on landing all day. Actually a bit refreshing to see we still have wings.

Hope Serfontein get more time in the next test. He should play 13 but then JJ had a good test.

There were a few but then there was some excellent passes also. He seems to understand space and when he get it right its fantastic to watch. I'd say he need to play a few tests to get rid of that debut shatters and is probably our best versatile player at the moment. Kirschner, no way I must...

We did not had the Willie distribution factor for years in our game. He make a world diffirense to our backline in this dpeartment and 15 is a good position to have him to pitch up all over the field. Nothing wrong with his kicking (altho I dont want to see him kicking) and an excellent defender.

Willie le Roux aint a wing. Played flyhalf schoolboy, played flyhalf and 12 for Boland, 15 for Griquas and only moved to the wing by Naka.

Watched the Reds vs Lions match. Still cant figure out why the Wallabies dont pick such a gifted footballer. Goodness crazy he have class and great to watch, tattoos and all.

Habana back in form and look to get back to his best. Willie sure made a differense for the Bok backline attack, made a few mistakes, but at least our backline look willing to spread it wide. Scrums were dominated by the Italians, lineouts also not good and thats where we need to improve fior...
