    6 Nations 2011

I think Wilko will play out of his career the way he came off the bench against Australia in Sydney and again against Wales in the most recent encounter. Just short cameos at the back end of games where he can add his name to the scoresheet with a couple of kicks and get a few cheers out of the...

Vickerman to play with Northampton ASAP

Sure you can. Baulking, crooked throws, early jumps, not matching the players, throwing over the jumpers, dropping players... And I'd say the lineout is as important as the scrum.

    Brumbies 2011

Those are two of the most important players they need to retain. I'm not even a Brumbies fan and I'm biting my nails hoping they hold on to AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper).

Vickerman to play with Northampton ASAP

The Aus scrum was pretty strong against the South Africans. By which I mean didn't get shoved back every single time and did push forward a couple of times.

Vickerman to play with Northampton ASAP

I'd prefer a fully fit Will Caldwell getting a go rather than Vickerman being brought back in, but it looks Ducka isn't going get that chance.

    NTS/Gold Squads

How is that unfair? You should probably explain your reasoning, and hope that it's airtight, lest you be bitch slapped by Bruce et al.

    Waratahs 2011

Turner is also different from the other options at 13; Carter runs into contact and occasinally offloads, Horne and Cross also run into contact put are much better offloaders but Turner is probably faster than the lot and likes to try and beat his opposite number on the outside, which brings up...

    G&GR Nostradamus Competition

Faaaaaaark, rushed through and did it. Now I see people are taking their time to consider it seriously! ;) Well, hopefully not overthinking this will have helped me.

6 Nations - some nice analysis

Couldn't the "bouncers" be pinged for obstruction or offside?
  10. DPK

    Waratahs 2011

Dunno if I agree with that; some outsides just slide and push the defenders towards the wing. Inside takes heavy crash ball a lot of the time.

    Waratahs 2011

Defending in the centres is at least three times harder than defending on the wing.

Sydney Rugby Clubs Who should I play for?

Auditioning as a whole front row, RF? :P Couldn't resist.

The Ones to watch in 2011

I thought he was brilliant last year. Better than the skidmark that is Cowan.

The Ones to watch in 2011

Here's hoping. Looks like the secret Mortlock cloning program the ARU put in place is starting to show results in the form of that bloke.

    Reds 2011

Chicken legs? Maybe it's just the way he's standing. What's Matfield's nickname about his chicken legs?

    Lions Super Rugby 2011

Probably, and win against foreign teams at home and gain the most praise even though a fellow SA team will probably win the bloody comp.

    Decline of Test match leaders

Lovely detente; absolutely agree. Normal career paths and skill sets are irrelevant when analysing Pocock.

    Lions Super Rugby 2011

Bold prediction: Lions to be the Reds of the SA conference in 2011.
