Western Force vs NSW Waratahs, 2011R08

Here's hoping the McCutcheon/Alcock switch occurs around the same time the Ulugia/Fitz one did against the Cheetahs.

Current Front Row Rankings on Form

I don't like Mafood anymore than you, Gnos, but you can't place him below a player who hasn't made the field.

What to do, 5m out, against a set defense

Don't mind me, I love quoting the Lawbook.

What to do, 5m out, against a set defense

It is indeed: 10.4 DANGEROUS PLAY AND MISCONDUCT Flying Wedge and Cavalry Charge. A team must not use the ‘Flying Wedge’ or the ‘Cavalry Charge’. Penalty: Penalty Kick at the place of the original infringement. ‘Flying Wedge’ The type of attack known as a ‘Flying Wedge’ usually happens near...

Man that was a good game.

    Giteau at 9

Don't get the wrong idea, Gnos. I only wanted someone to elucidate this part of Australian rugby's past for me, not start a push to get Giteau in the halfback spot in the present or anything like that.

Stormers vs Queensland Reds @ Newlands - 2011R08

    And the opposite, Benson Stanley.

    Giteau at 9

I didn't pay much attention to rugby until the last few years, and as such I remember basically nothing about Matt Giteau's time at scrumhalf. Can anyone shed some light on the experiment? As in when did it happen/who's idea was it/why was it a success/failure.

What to do, 5m out, against a set defense

I agree, and but ideally, the referees should be able to determine when the one side has forced the collapse rather than the scrum collapsing accidently.

What to do, 5m out, against a set defense

I think refs should be more vigilant in making teams use ball even though the scrum has collapsed. A few resets is fine, but seeing the ball make it to the feet of the number eight, with the half ready to scoop it out before being halted by the ref blowing up for a resets is very frustrating...

This could be a cracker. Beware the Stormers pack, they seem to live for grinding teams into the turf.

    How are World Cups won?

Maybe, Bruce, this will be less like Singapore and more like Trafalgar - Deans tactics may be go against the established tradition and overwhelm a superior enemy.

    Wallabies world cup squad selection

Haven't seen much of the Force this year, I was impressed by his running game last night though. Will Edmonds get another go? I hope not but Deans... is Deans.

    Force v Rebels - 2011R07

Had a closer look at Nick Cummins last night to see what the Force fans have been crowing about, and he is adapting quite well to the 13 position. He has an uncanny knack for hitting the opposition defense, almost halting all of his momentum but then pushing over the advantage line with a good...

Keep it up, guys, you're my eyes and ears for this one. Tired of laggy streams.
