Gerrard or Vuna, thanks. Can we set up a anti-Rooney force field?

    Rugby - not set pieces

That's hilarious... ...he does look like a turtle!

    Reds vs Bulls 2011R09

Ease up, it's not like they used the word grovel or anything. It'll have a minuscule effect on the game.

    Troll mercilessly.

    Wallabies returning to their roots

Probably because there's so many bloody players in a team!

    Wallabies returning to their roots

Is this all the players that will be returning, or will there be more added to the list?

    Blues v NSW Waratahs @ Auckland - 2011R09

I hope he plays, but regardless of whether he does or not, the number of games back to back he has played is a testament to his consistency and dependability.

If the Monkey Cloud is out, it will be the first time in a long time. Does anyone know how many games straight he's played for the Tahs?

Ah no, England as a matter of fact.

I think it's easy to pick a form 1-15, but when you're choosing the bench it's hard to rely solely on form. Questions like experience, versatility, combinations are hard to avoid.

Stormers vs Queensland Reds @ Newlands - 2011R08

I'm sorry, fellow backs, I must betray the brotherhood. The battle against SBW won't be won by any backline player, it'll be won by the pigs. Disrupt, slow, or take the Crusaders ball, keep them on their heels and see that SBW and Freuen don't see a scrap of pill.

    NSW Rugby obvservations

Australian rugby would be stronger for it, but you're right, these clubs wouldn't exactly thrive.

Try telling that to the club that has to pay.

If the ARU could give some money for travel, a Canberra team would be a great addition to the Shute Shield.

Western Force vs NSW Waratahs, 2011R08

I don't disagree with you, in fact I should have written that he did well in attracting defenders because I did note that. I didn't use any statistics or mention workrate. Just effectiveness, and the fact that I didn't think Palu was as effective as he can be.

Informational Flash interactive : The Rugby Rules.

Boom, right here. www.rugbytactics.com Only backline moves in the link, but I agree with newb, a flash sequence of the engagement and a focus on each position's role in the scrum i.e. backrow keeping scrum tight, second rowers pushing through the hooker etc. Also, RF, great work on this...

Western Force vs NSW Waratahs, 2011R08

I'm a little late to be brining in a few comments, but here are some thoughts: - Benn Robinson looked to be more active than in previous weeks around the park, and more effective than previously. IMO, he's one player that should be good for hit ups because of his natural low body height...
