There is a lot of talent on display and as you say it is presumptuous to think that playing for QLD I/II last year would be automatic inclusion this year. There are a lot of players putting their hand up for 6,7,8, 9 & 10 position this year. Difficult decision for selectors.

Enough about the QRU doing nothing (they have taken over from the ARU with regards to development) They are out there every weekend identifying the talent at the games and offering training camps for those with potential to go further and doing a remarkable job at developing rugby in Queensland...

I agree both the shoulder charges (and whoever thinks their arms were used needs a lesson on tackling) and the incident at the line out are highly questionable and should have been penalised.

Anyone heading down to Surf City to preview the TGS vs TSS trial games?

TGS 1st play TSS 1st this weekend in a trial game. Keen to see how they match up in a 70 min game. I think TGS will be a physical side, although TSS does have a size advantage in the pack but the back line looked impressive last week end and there could be a number of tries from both sides.

Very difficult to pick as you say TSS I thought was good on defense but we're lacking out wide. I think TSS 13 is Riley, Whitbread was out with injury and did not play. TGS showed signs of strength in attack in the back line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
