It's alright, I reckon a few of us Rebels fans probably overrated Pyle a little bit (I'd still take him over Dennis though) ;)

Seems you're correct. It looks like he was capped for Samoa in the June tests. Good for him!

I'd probably have Huge Pyle over either Skelton or Dennis

Maybe put PAE in in place of the kiwi Lomax. Which ever way you slice it though, that would be a pretty damn good 6th Super Rugby team.

And in another comp, Panasonic Wild Knights have a pretty impressive list of Aussies: Matt Mafi, Daniel Heenan, Sam Wykes, Mr David Pocock, Berrick Barnes, and Digby Ioane.

NRC 2017 Round 4: Melbourne Rising vs Greater Sydney Rams 24/09

Yeah, as BR mentioned Latu-Meafou is the larger of the two large gents. As long as he grows up rather than out, he's already 145kgs. Despite his size he is pretty mobile. I especially liked the bit where he jumped over Holloway, AFL style, to take a restart.

NRC 2017 Round 4: Melbourne Rising vs Greater Sydney Rams 24/09

I believe that, at 17, Tupou was the youngest player from any team at this year's Under 20s World Cup - he's 18 now. The big lads, Latu-Meafou and Ha'angana are both teenagers as well.

NRC 2017 Round 4: Melbourne Rising vs Greater Sydney Rams 24/09

I thought Rob had a decent first game back, solid enough and good in the lineout. Harley Fox has gone to Connacht.

    NRC onwards and upwards

It shouldn't be a big deal to push Facebook updates to their websites. Once it's set up they can forget about it. One stone, two birds.

Great to see Rob Leota named to start this week. Oh and Sefa is back :)

Nic is going to have to play well to make the 23. Goddard is going well and he's a goal kicker.

    Rebels 2018

Our backline the last couple of seasons has been like a daddy long legs spider; it's got a bit of deadly venom but no way to inject it. In the little bit of the ITM I've seen, JG-B has looked pretty good but he seems to be mostly a distributor. We probably looked best on attack when we had...

Yep. I'm in the Hodge at 13 camp as well. I'd be happy for Sione to be given first crack at 12. His form in the Under 20s WC and in the NRC so far has been outstanding.

That draw looks looks alright to me. I'm happy with most of the home games on Friday nights IIRC, we always got better crowds on Fridays.

I think pretty much everyone in Australia, outside of QLD, hopes that Stiles sees out his contract and gets an extension till after the 2027 RWC ;) Actually, I'd be happy if we picked up Matt Taylor. His name was being tossed around a while back.

I think Cummins probably cops a bit too much criticism on here; he's improved quite a bit over the last couple of seasons. He's more of a work-rate type than an impact type though. If he was our bench lock, instead of #1, I think most people would have been happy with him.
