    Brisbane Junior Club Rugby 2017 - U13 to U17

Well it was unclear what the intentions of Jeeps were . Would they get a team together ? Would they skip certain games ? Was there more of an interest in other things like following the interests of some of the parents in the group - like in amateur photography ? But good to see that they have...

    Brisbane Junior Club Rugby 2017 - U13 to U17

And welcome back to Jeeps top team in the U15's this season putting in an impressive display against an equally impressive Easts team in unimpressive conditions. Some strong first up efforts from boys on both teams Off that effort Jeeps can certainly lay claim to compete in the Div 1...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

Nudgee , GT , IGS and BBC have all added significant new talent ..........to their U15 and U16/Opens programs this year . Even Brisbane Grammar have. We know TGS have - which sent our mate , Realist, reeling ( I understand where he's coming from incidentally and why he feels the way he does )...

Firstly , if you are going to quote me , at least go to the trouble of doing it accurately I said : " It's a little different in the age group below as the best Rugby / League kids are already at GPS Schools and will play the two bob each way bets right down to the wire ( read : play rugby...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

^Well no it isn't as it is not a proven fact. Only a "fact" based on your opinion which of course you are entitled to I'm confused as to how the discussion moved to U14 Rugby from last year with a tangent into Club when no one was talking about this ....but I did state and state again that...

^ I have not been through the numbers out of Sydney ( seems to be floating around 25% to 33% with a better spread across AAGPS and CAS Schools )

    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

Not to inflame ....but to state the factual matter - On average ,circa 40% of young men selected to play Schoolboys in the last 2 or 3 years have been Brisbane GPS School boys . There were 1 or 2 AIC boys last year ( Sikmetti and Skelton I think ) but I don't believe the prior year had any AIC...

So the 6th Wheel in the U15 Comp will be interesting Wests Sunnybank Easts Helensvale Souths And ...... Maybe Norths , Brothers or Logan ??? Pants off to Logan and Souths who have lost some talent but won't skip anyone and man up to play ( on paper ) superior teams Helensvale too who...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

@ Country Jack League and Rugby have happily co-existed at GPS Schools so long as Schools know their place. Some Schools are better at knowing their place than others when the League Over Lords and obedient Parents /Kids crack the whip. The School dare not reach for that whip .........those...

    Brisbane Junior Club Rugby 2017 - U13 to U17

Hmmm. Confusion there was ( / end yoda ) In the U15's .... The Helensvale Hogs didn't get to play the new look , suped up Sunnybank outfit ( as they didn't get notified until too late in the piece ) The new look Easts handled Souths without too much fuss And Wests faced the hardest...

Can anyone from St Peters tell me where the Collins lad is furthering his Rugby this year. I thought he had a helluva Schoolboys trial last year and was unlucky not to make it into at least the Barbarians squad Thanks in advance

    AIC Rugby 2017

That's my understanding of things as well HLF And regime change wasn't quite right ........regime disturbance may be more accurate with person(s) who may have shaken things up , now elsewhere when the business as usual option was chosen. It is a shame however as he was probably the pulse of...

    AIC Rugby 2017

U16 I assume this year Midas ? I also assume he will be part of a broader Firsts training squad but the current U16 age group level at Nudgee had a big turnaround last year in the U15 age group level and are well positioned ( surprise surprise for Nudgee ) to build a strong platform when they...

    AIC Rugby 2017

A Lauries mail update Apparently there was intention to blood a younger player or two ( probably only 1 ) in this year's First XV if he / they earned that right through trials / camp etc The change of regime has laid that prior intention to rest and irrespective of whether a Grade 10 player...

I haven't seen Cayle Manu's name surface on this thread much yet Is he expected to have a First XV impact this year ? I like the young Connors lad from St Pat's as well Any thoughts on either from those a bit closer to the action ?
