    Give the stars a rest....

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2017

That may a function of the view of the coaches of the quality (or lack of it) of the opposition being played. Maybe.

Not a bad match this 20 minutes odd.

Young Pavlakis is playing well for CS at the moment. Seems to have a nice side step and he accelerates off the mark like a jack in the box. CS well ahead at oranges.

Nice game. Some good backline work from the 1's.

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2017

It will be interesting to see how the NSW 1's backline clicks in its next game. It was a different backline in the second half yesterday and showed some entertaining running rugby. I will try to watch the streaming in between dealing with annoying things like clients....

Hopoate for NSW 1's was impressive. A bit of a weapon. Some good running Rugby played by NSW1's.

    OK. Sounds good to me.

    CAS Rugby 2017

Have a look at the ISA thread and some extreme comments being posted up there re friend being banned. Division is what is wrong with this sport. People need to wake up and stop being so internally tribal. It is childish and divisive.

    ISA 2017

Other codes love seeing division like this. It just leads to implosion, in fighting and grassroots players leaving the sport for other codes. Keep talkin' if you want to wreck Rugby mate.

    CAS Rugby 2017

Cross threaders seem to get wrung out and read words or implications into postings that are just not there. I dont get it when this is a school boy's comp and there are things happening in the world like Babies being slaughtered in Syria and bombings in Pakistan. NOBODY disrespects ISA for...

If the Burgess referred to is Jayden, Killara HS, he is very quick and a hard man. A great runner with the ball. Played Lindfield A grade for some years on the wing with Charlie Rorke playing no 8 in the same team.

And the try of the year was excellent. What a game. Thank you SLV for posting it up and to you Rod for alerting us to watch out for it. Well worth the hour of putting the phone on DND, shutting the office door and pretending to look busy...

Some anxious moments in the first half. I felt the urge to pass wind with nerves a couple of times.....wonder how the Boys felt...GPS performed very well in the forwards.

Wristman, in my occupation I am mature and responsible most of the time. Here I can be 15 years of age again (within reason) and post childish comments if i wish. And maybe they may just lighten up somebody's day. Or bring a smile to the face during a tough day. Lighten up brother.

Sideline View has had some sport on the GPS thread for those of you who have not had a look. Amazing how prevalent elitist attitudes seem to emanate from that thread which after all is currently supporting what is a second tier competition...baaah haaaa haaa

    2017 AAGPS/CAS Combined "Comp"

CAS will want stiffer competition than GPS next year given this years experience and the crop they have coming through.....ha ha
