What Quade should have been doing

His kicks at goal were perfect.

    DPK's Positional Proposition

(Moving discussion from a thread were my posted had digressed off topic) 1. Alexander 2. Moore 3. Kepu 4. Vickerman 5. Sharpe 6. Horwill 7. Pocock 8. Higginbotham (At scrum time, Sharpe would pack at 6.) With the three Ents of Vickerman, Sharpe and Horwill all on the field at...

The positives & failings from Bledisloe 1 2011

What about Horwill at 6? I know it will never happen unless Rocky has a long term injury, and even then it's unlikely, but with Vickerman, Sharpe and Horwill on the park the pack would be a great deal grittier. You could also afford to have Higginbotham playing wider.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

Maybe they're sadists at heart, Barbar?

What Quade should have been doing

Yep, totally agree WJ. The backline is based on confidence.

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

I hate to double post, but I felt something last night and I'm wondering if anyone else felt the same. Watching the Wallabies get pumped wasn't the worst part of the game; the realisation that I would have to read through post after post of people who have unrealistic expectations of our team...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

I'm not, Br. I want us to beat the full strength AB's convincingly as much as the next Wallaby fan, but unlike some fans I can see that we don't have the worlds greatest team that just doesn't play at 100%. Sometimes you lose games, sometimes you are beaten. Last year in Sydney, we lost that...

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

For fuck's sake RH, is it really impossible that we were beaten by a better team? It is so frustrating that you seem unable to see that this AB's team may be one of the best ever and that might mean that other teams are inferior.

Ok, I'll bite. What would he have added that McCabe didnt?

    Pocock was well watched, though.

Did any of the backs substitutes get on the field?

    Tri Nations Game 3 New Zealand v Australia - Saturday 6 August 2011 - 3N2011

I'd be interested to hear Austin's take on this one. Did the Wallabies run a single set piece move? Offside line is BEHIND the last feet, not the halfway point of the breakdown. This wasn't refereed correctly and as such, both sides were offside for most of the game. This really hurt the...

    RWC: Should we be cynical

Does the influx of money outweigh the financial apathy created by a RWC loss in NZ?

    Brumbies 2012

Good technical lock to partner with a physical lock. What are the Brumbies other locks like?

    Western Force 2012

Sidey's more physical than Bennetts from what I've seen. Sidey takes contact on his terms to drive forward and gain metres, Bennetts targets gaps to break through and set up his outside men. Potentially a good 12-13 combo?

    Brumbies 2012

How many kick offs do they need to show to prove he can catch?

    No Sharpie

I disagree, JB, I'd say we have 2 Test class locks, two unpolished Test class locks (Vicks and Simmo) and one potential TC lock in Timani.

    The Kiwi Back 3

I was thinking about this the other day; there's not a lot to hate about him. Dan Carter's the same. Laconic, consistent, and fucking talented.

The Scariest War Dances - Pre Match Rituals

So what's next, Br? Sacrificing live animals on the field? Burning effigies of the opposition players? It is a man's game after all.
