Ngamanu played exceptionally well throughout the game, Riley came on second half (1 try) and Tony Hunt a little later, second half was scrappy with individuals trying to impress and not much going down the line. 59-0. Hopefully this weekend against a stronger side, a better team performance...

IMO Third is a better option than Jooste. I watched him play in the Aus Schoolboy against NZ and he did not impress me to the extent of a Super Squad contract and was infact pretty average at schoolboy level as he was not even originally picked in Aus schoolboy team. Maybe a long term investment.

What about young Mitch Third, he went pretty well in the NRC IMO.

Girtbysea, do you know the approx height & weight of these backline players? I know Magnay is 98 kg at 1.95m which is pretty big and Perese 91 kg at 1.8m and some say he'd be to small for a super centre.

The first 3 definitely out for the curtain raisers, I have not heard too much about Perese's recovery and I would assume with the ACL injury that he would be out for at least the first half of the year unless he has recovered and rehabbed extremely well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
