Your memory seems a little dusty there Dusky - the current BBC Opens were always a mid table team as they were coming through the under age groups And Nudgee were 1 of 2 teams the smart money was on at the start of this season , and so , for those that went the Blue and White as far back as...

Finally Blue and White .... 1. How many 18 year olds on Nudgee's team ? 2. Who do you reckon would be considered the Top 3 players What about TSS ? ( same question applying )

How many U16's do you think will start in the Nudgee First XV this year BW ? How many do you reckon will start in Terrace's team ?

I stand corrected in Tuqiri's case He's finishing Grade 12 this year

Middle ? Bit ambitious isnt Henry ? Countdown to : "The squalor-ship system in GPS might be warped but it's not yet broken. Give it 2-3 years to see the real damage! Well I guess that's 2 years from now on your time clock hey Henry ?

It's symptomatic of an ongoing trend in the concentration of top end talent and then the lack of consistent depth all the way through. This is true in GPS Rugby across all "A" age groups in the Top 3 teams v the Rest Then the best AIC team ( MCA ) providing clear daylight over other AIC...

FWIW....CSS were the most enjoyable team to watch over the 3 days It's a bloody good sign and wake up call (all in one) that Talent ID types cannot afford to ignore the Downs , Central QLD , and FNQ Downlands Kohan Herbert was a stand out

Well certainly GPS 1 were - by a country mile. CSS were great - and I mean that . I reckon they should have got at least 2 more in - their No 3 especially , Josiah Tafinnau , ( he really was terrific v GPS 2 ) and their No 5. Both those spots would have been at their expense of GPS 2 players...

    Didn't AIC lose all 3 ? I thought they went down to GPS 3 on Day 1 - 19-17 ?

    QLD GPS Rugby 2017

TBH I'd swap Josiah Taofinnau and Emosi Tuquiri spots I'm not sold on Joe Small as QLD 1 Starter . I'd give the jersey to Kohan Herbert and have Tom Kibble ( Jack finished last year ) as my bench loose forward . He nailed it yesterday. Herbert was just consistently outstanding over the 3...

I wasn't there for the first game but great to hear Cam Howard getting amongst it and doing well last night . There will be plenty for him to prove against GPS 1 tonight . Go well fella

CSS were bloody fantastic in their win over GPS 2 7 and 3 were eye catching , however , the whole team should take a bow for their commitment and intent - AIC take note In terms of the GPS 1 v AIC game - Lachlan Connors was a lone hand and the rest just didn't consistently show up . A nod to...

You are on the money re : Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow, King I saw him nearly 18 months ago through the U15 JGC and he was as stunning back then against that competition as he is now. I'll go out on a limb and suggest that if BGS can address their ability to some muscle upfront in the next 12 months...

No real arguments with that Team of the Day on Day 1 , King I didn't get to see Somerset's Josh Vuta but will keep an eye out for him I was impressed with Cooper Whiteside and also GPS 2's 14 ( Jangala Bennett ) and 23 ( Dennis Waight )
