You know Rugby Fan my Wife said almost exactly the same as you have outlined here. Isn't it strange how different the perspectives can be.She thought it one of the most boring and one dimensional games she has ever watched. I thought it one of the most exciting with a game plan unfolding. I get...

I reckon a straw poll should be taken on that match by those threaders who saw the B v W match as to whether the affirmative can be answered on 2 questions: 1. That the match was the best CAS match ever seen by those who saw it, but if not to that standard whether 2. W put on the best...

For Waverley seconds number 4 Eden Rogers Smith dominated the forward play. I would have played him in the 1's due to his size and skill. For Barker 1's I think Sam Chalmers had an outstanding game. He was everywhere man

About 10 I believe. I did predict in an earlier thread a Barker forwards pick and drive game but my prediction was not based on an absence of Wright and Moretti but more to keep the ball away from chaps like Bell Donaldson and Hardaker if possible. As it turns out Barker hung onto possession for...

what happens if Barker beat Knox but Knox manage to beat Waves( unlikely but a possibility.)?

Wow. What a game - Barker v Waves. I am proud of the Barker Boys -they played their hearts out- but it was not to be. Waverley held against repeated attacks on the line in the first half. Did anyone count how many times the ball was held up? Who has seen a better game than that recently? Rugby...

Tejcek uses the box kick I think because of the over abundant speed of the chasers he has available. It works very well on the odd occasion as an attack. Who knows the chess game that is going on at the moment.

Get seats in the new pavilion for Barker v Waves early lads. It will be a popular game

You need a north shore Visa mate - it is a foreign country for you lot - but we will let you in. I think. Bad news. I am sure Barker would have much preferred to have played against Wave's best team. If they do manage to win, it will always be met otherwise with "yeah but Moretti and Wright...

That is where the opposition will be sitting. The structure I think is strategic for that reason. Ha Ha.

Rod Skellet may have a 2nds table but I dont. From memory the Barker 2nd's are undefeated in the CAS comp at least. Rod?

I hope Moretti is OK. What a pity it would have been awesome to see an Aussie schoolboy in play. Let's hope whatever it is repairs quickly. Normally an AC can take a player out for months like it ended Matthew Coghill for this year. Hopefully it is not as serious.

I saw Moretti last year at Death Valley and on the video streaming but not live this year. He is a good player but did not create the impression that say Finn Wright did when he carved up last year. But I reserve my view after seeing him live in a couple of weeks. The contest in the rucks...
