I read the season preview Roddus Brutus (et tu) and noticed the second ranking given to the mighty B ......initially I thought you may have consumed too many of those magic mushrooms with your steak and red wine when making the assessment....hope you are incorrect old boy. Was politics at play...

Mmmm...My best guess (and it is only that based on scores seen) is Waverley by a bit more than that. Possibly up to 20 points. No doubt WLF will post up progress.

I agree. The edge in the backs seems to manifest on what I have seen through error free play rather than player brilliance.

Any thoughts yet as to how a prospective 2018 CAS team may compare to the (outstanding) 2017 CAS team and any assessment on chances v GPS? I have not been around to watch other CAS teams to form any views yet.

I think Cyclo will shortly kick us back to the CAS hole from which we both crawled out of WLF. As to the competition, sure Barker is doing well, but the number of X factors with schoolboy Rugby is not capable of calculation. I do see the gap between the Barker 1st and the 2nds and the lack of...

Of course I agree with you - if I disagreed I would be outside the tent pissing in, not inside the tent pissing out! Gotta get with the programme WLF. Ha ha. The match up tween our teams will be the big event

Barker got lucky on Saturday. They held most of the possession thanks to the forward work but main differences between the teams where the back line handling errors. The Joey's passes were fast and simple and handling errors were rare. That coupled with the running skill of their 15 and 11 saw a...

11,13 and15 for Joeys were slick and the backline in general displayed great running rugby. Close call.

Hi Guys - I am a CAS supporter - will be at the Barker v Joeys match on Saturday. Who will be the Joey's players to watch out for? Any predictions offered?

I carried on about Stannies when I saw them play Barker. They are a quality team. In the 20 minutes I saw they dominated in the forwards. Their number 4 is a refrigerator on wheels. They lost the match probably as a combination of the heat and a lack of match fitness coupled with the fact that...
