    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

Yea Waugh is spot on, I call it my referee time and balance interpretation. The time the referee gives the fetcher before he shouts release or blows hands in, and the balance he give the fetcher leaning on a player or on his feet. Richie had to exceed both before he found the sweet spots for...

    RWC - New Zealand v France - 24th September

I though McCaw once again had a very quiet game, they certainly miss Reid. France were average particularly in first time tackles. But would add a good AB team only let them play that well. AB's certainly have the best back line in the comp however Reid aside I would put the forwards no more...

1981 Springbok tour to NZ - 30 years old

Important as it was and more of a turning point in SA politics and understanding that most would understand this is not a subject I talk about during a celebration of Rugby. Anyway PB I see myself more a a pigeon than a chicken the amount of countries I have lived in.

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

A sad old man living in a very small bubble and NZ's No1 Pom Basher although I doubt he could give a reason why he does!

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

OK who sent the letter to radiosport in NZ :), that apparently has some disappointing things to say re Kiwi fans? Anyway the host is reading it out in the next 20mins or so.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

Just returned from the game, fairly good atmosphere and a almost full stadium. Just a good hit out nothing else other than Houghard is seriously asking some big questions as to the permanent scrummy but we all know he will continue to be wing and scrumhalf cover off the bench. Spies once again...

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

This thread is so close to the bone it is scary. I think the occasion just got the better of a small minority and the sport of Aussie bashing that is promoted just a little too much for my liking in NZ got a little OTT. Hell its a big occasion for this country and I think the coverage this...

Kiwi hate vibe is marring World Cup

There is a fair amount of debate going on in the media regards this and whether the friendly banter has gone just a little too far this time.

The Springboks at the Rugby World Cup

Keo was on Murry Deakers show on Sunday the original Sports Jock of NZ. Was bordering on the hysterical all things anti Pdv and SARFU and how they had no chance getting past the quarters. Not that it is a big surprise and Ryan Vrede article certainly echos my feelings that even though it was a...

    RWC - Wallabies v Ireland - 17th September 2011

No team has ever won the World Cup losing a game. The game for my 2c was won by a team who would have beaten just about anyone on the night. Just forward domination and specifically holding the ball carrier of the ground, out muscled.

Not sure who to support yet? Just think the Welsh may scrape this. 8 and under.

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

Because I see Spies a better 8 than Rossouw and Victor looks of the pace although we will miss his rugby "smarts" at the line outs. Even with my lack of faith in Spies atm my team would be; Lambie. Wow he got plenty of hospital passes last night but still looked solid. Odwa, good...

RWC 2011 - Pool D - Fiji, Namibia, Wales, South Africa, Samoa

Yea agreed not dancing in the street still 3rd Fav in my eyes although a few of the detractors will certainly take note of this performance especially those that have slight reservations as to the lack of forward dominance the AB brings to there game. My concern is that PDV will revert to "his...
