"Me think that things may just be ticking along nice and quietly out west." I think the same about TGS. The Drovers dog picked ACGS to win last year. Does anyone get the feeling that if NC get injuries to 1,3 and especially 8--the premiership is wide open this year?

Have not got a name yet-but is on Broncos books and they have a big wrap on him. I am told he was to interview at Genia's old school but didnt get in the door as grades were not good enough.

doesnt look as good as last year when they had some real pace out wide. also looks like a small forward pack compared to NC( 2 returning aussie schoolboys) TSS ( the massive number 8 is back )and BBC ( gunter , swain , hope and both Farrells are back) but as GT showed in 2013 a small fast well...

HTC i hope you are right but my head says Nudgee with 2 Aussie schoolboys back in their forwards along with many 2nd year 1stxv and a new league star brought in by Shane Drahm are clear favourites.

Is the ARU doing anything about this.? So many exciting players going to NRL. I see Josh Bowen , Lachie Maranta and others at the Broncos and both Aussie Schoolboy centres from 2013 at Parramatta- with one already playing A grade. The GPS rugby system is breeding ground for NRL scouts.

As usual-the King produces another interesting post. I thought your summaries in the last round in 2014-were your best yet. Does the Phillpotts article deal with the Aussie schoolboys at all?

Mr Prop On paper-you have a reasonable argument. Is it 10 or 11 bacK?Plus their connection with the Broncos continues to pay dividends in grade 8 & 9. But BBC are the Boston White Sox of the GPS ."whatever can go wrong-will go wrong". Injuries in Japan is my tip.

ARU Junior Gold Cup - National Junior Championships

some very good points. if you are a boarder and do not play for a club( TSS, NC ,BBC have many) you dont get selected??? or looked at. These schools had 3/4s of their A teams as boarders.

De Dear GSP what you say is correct. But can i suggest that you , spikehaza ,and others not talk BBC up this year. let the actions / score talk. You have 10 or 11 boys back , you have the Aussie schoolboys coach and you have a squad of 30 going to Japan for Sanix. But for the last 3 years...
