    Waratahs 2021

I think it’d be a good signing, every team this year had players with questionable pasts that proved to be valuable assets to the clubs. Reds - JOC (James O'Connor) (drugs and sacked) and Paisami (sacked for public punch up) Brums - Slipper (drugs) Force - Ready (alcohol) Waratahs - Hunt (drug charges) Rebels -...

    Rebels 2021

I’d rather Hodge at 15 but there is no way DHP isn’t been included in the match day, so this will push Hodge into a 10-12 combo with To'omua to start the season and maybe towards the end of the season at 13 after Gordon gets blooded

    Rebels 2021

With Hodge there is only 3 guys that can cover 12. Combos for 10-12-13 will either be Gordon - To'omua - Hodge Hodge - To'omua - Magnay To'omua - Hodge - Magnay I have a suspicion that the 7s converts are on some co-contract that allows them to go into 7s camp and be available when needed.

    Rebels 2021

His signing for me pushes Hodge towards 10 or 12 in the match day squad. There is a bunch of outside backs and not much covering 10-12, he’s the obvious one to shift in

Centre/wing that spent the past 2 seasons at the Broncos. Was the 2018 world rugby trophy (tier 2) player of the tournament in 2018 and then invited to Fijians 7s team but was moved from the squad once he signed with Brisbane. Had played a bit of centre in league in last 2 seasons at Q Cup...

    Reds 2021

The MLR salary cap is US$500k (AUD$677k) so the salaries are fairly ordinary even for Super Rugby standards. What they can offer is covering of expenses and the major benefit to some players is the contract is only for 6months of the year so eligible for other competitions like Mitre10 or in many cases...

There is a few guys normally on short term training contracts as international or players with season ending surgery are unavailable till January.

    Wallabies 2020

The two best captains in SRAU were To'omua and Wright. To'omua is very pragmatic in his decision making. However he is a little on the injured side and wouldn't solve a long term issue. Wright captains very well for a youngster but isn't good enough to make the team currently, he also...

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Unfortunately for the Brumbies clan the only backline player at serious risk of dropping out of the side in Banks. He just not offering anything

    Australia v Argentina - 21 November, Newcastle

Hard to praise or criticize players after that game. Personally I think we need another ball carrier in the forwards. Banks I also think is the man most at risk of not playing the next test, he was fairly ordinary. It wouldn’t surprise me to see JOC (James O'Connor) at 10 and Hodge move to 15. It was one of...

    Western Force 2021

Cottrell has officially left, no idea on his destination. RHP is 100% in the Rebels squad this season, he’s been an early arrival back in the club house before the larger squad is officially due back.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think it’s important that we have an outright Australian champion in something every year. We shouldn’t put ourselves in a position where there is no success for long periods again. Media needs to celebrate something and fans need to celebrate something. I’m all for SRAU and then a different...

    Rebels 2021

It is a Jamie Pandaram article. This years he’s mentioned almost half the wallabies squad as been disgruntled and threatening to leave. The article also correctly points out that the tv deal so far is roughly $20m less than the last one (with overseas rights to be still signed), but then says...
