England v Australia, Saturday 3 December

If England beat the wallabies this weekend (which is likely) they must be the best International team of 2016. Won every game and Six nations. Based on the northern hemisphere tour results one could easily argue that England has played in a tougher competition (six nations )than All Blacks...

France v Australia, Saturday 19 November

Better because he didn't get a yellow only. Makes no metres with ball in hand, lost ball at breakdown, packs to high in scrum and we lose drive on thiat side of scrum. Average player based on average performance of core positional skills,

New Zealand v Wallabies, Eden Park, Sat 22nd October

I am flying over the ditch to watch this game so hope the Wallabies do well. Must say though that I am going with the mindset of a rugby fan wanting to watch a great AB team rather than as a hopeful wallaby fan. Surrounded by so much all black support can be rather depressing otherwise.

No angle issue its there in all its glory. Worse in this photo is Ref sees it warns him and plays on.

if there is no charges or citing that will just about do me for Rugby's integrity.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/international/72360068/argentinas-galarza-cops-nineweek-suspension-for-eye-gouge-on-brodie-retallick This eye gouge cost an Argy player nine weeks for attacking the eye area of A kiwi. Kiwi press reporting disappointment in accusations of eye gouge in last...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2016

Which Gps school currently runs the best rugby program? Basing this not just on first first 15 but across the age divisions?

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Not an admission by coaching and selection staff though. Hooper just didn't suddenly jump. They must have actually trained for it and thought they would get a result. Symptom of a coach that thinks being smart is going away from the basics and doing sneaky things to gain an advantage. Just...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

We may have just witnessed the death of taking the Wallabies seriously as a rugby team. One trick Chieka, talks a great game but delivers so little. Frankly the entire Aussie set up by the Aru is pathetic. Always looking for a simple fix instead of dealing with the big issues so obvious to the...

Bledisloe 1 - Wallabies vs All Blacks, ANZ Stadium, Sydney, 8:05pm

Sad to see that we are taking on the Ab's with 7 forwards and an all rounder in Hooper playing too much time in the backs. Chiek talks a good game about finishers and then delivers no game breakers. Hooper and Quade off the bench for me.

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

And those putting the slipper in to Cheika, who would be your choice for coach? Sure, this international season hasn't started well but his overall record is good. I'll concede he needs to come up with a less predictable game plan though. I reckon the England fans should still be reeling from...

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Adaption on a game by game basis is irrelevant. Means you are playing catchup. Team must adapt as game progresses, nothing from the Wallabies under Chieka tells me this is possible. His blind faith in the same game plan is killing us.

Wallabies v England in Melbourne, 18 June

Agree with above except for the fact Robshaw should have still received a yellow. The retaliation from MOORE does not excuse the fact that indiscretion must receive yellow.

Junior rugby based on weight classes

The problem with leaving it to local bodies to make a ruling on this issues is that you don't then have a national policy to promote the benefits of the system to get more kids to play rugby. It also then shifts liability to the local union and creates an ongoing ever changing national...

Junior rugby based on weight classes

The size difference is absolutely an issue that needs to be dealt with by the ARU. So sick of hearing the line Kids want to play with thier friends as a reason not to have grading or not to have weight for ages. I havnt meet a kid yet that can't make new mates in about one hour. In fact one...

    Reds 2017

Losing Green is disappointing for the Reds imo. But not unexpected based on being given no real game time all year. Clearly the powers that be (who ever that is these day at the Reds) didn't feel the need to give him a chance. That says more about the Reds management than Sam. Jake is not the...

Declining participation and ARU plans for the future

You don't fund a national competition. Those days are past unfortunately. You have a ten team ANZ comp existing Aussie and NZ super rugby team. You take a smaller cut for the tv rights but you pass all the money thru to the clubs competing. No top up for wallabies. Small ARU. Pick the best...

Declining participation and ARU plans for the future

It is a fair comparison and it is not flawed in the context that we operate in a global marketplace for players. Club rugby in France and the U.K. Is dominating player payments and the general interest in rugby in that part of the world. You can't get a different result if you maintain the same...

Declining participation and ARU plans for the future

This ARU development plan is flawed from the start IMO based on the direct quote that “Ultimately the future prosperity of the game is dependent on the success of our elite teams. We need successful Wallabies, Wallaroos, Super Rugby and Sevens teams. The professional game generates over 90% of...
