    What an outlandish statement! complacency? How does waiting a couple of days before opening the new thread lead you to surmise that Shore is complacent- complacent in losing?? Shore puts in as much effort as any other school. If everyone works hard not all can be rewarded.

    IMHO Gregory (E) is the form fullback of the competition- unflappable at the back when faced with one on ones. Also excellent at the kick return.

    Gregory shifted into 12 with the departure of Sinclair at half time and the younger Rixon (15 in the 2s) came into 15. With the departure of Sheehan halfway through the 2nd half Gibson (10 in the 2s) ended up playing 13 (a courageous effort considering he was captain of the 3s only 3 weeks ago).

    Was at Northbridge yesterday- the combination of a close match and old boy’s day made for quite a spectacle, which ended with Shore claiming their first victory since 2014. Shore dominated possession in the first half- with the forward pack providing the backs with some good go forward ball...
