NSW AAGPS - The Next Generation - U16 Competition, and Presidents XV Rep Team

OK Gents, this isn't going anywhere. One of the best things about the day, both teams happily stayed around chatting with each other discussing the season just passed, rep matches ahead and plans for the summer. Lets move on.

QH and IS, I am disappointed in your posts HTR is well within rights to vent frustration , that is what a forum is for; to discuss and debate. QH, HTR posted on the match 24 hours after the match what's wrong with that? There was universal bemusement on match day about the the field from...

The New V Joeys clash in 16s has certainly garnered air time here. My observations, both teams were fired up and were willing at the contest. Agree that it was a very physical affair. To be frank the referee would reflect on his own performance and be unhappy. But the criticism lies firmly...

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

Duly noted IS. LG had to "prune" my exuberant word count, (think I am in the naughty corner:( ). How does the original intro sound? "Having secured 10 in a row following their first round win against Joeys, Scots had the goal of an unassailable lead to win the AAGPS “School Challenge trophy”...

Well in that case it must be a "Newington" thing. I cant think of a GPS schools that affords their U14B team the "privilege" of playing on the school's #1 field at the expense of an older age group, let alone an A team. Scots = No Joeys = No Shore = No Kings = No Riverview = No Anyway...

That makes no sense. Unless, the "powers that be" are keen to play either the 14s on as large a field as possible or the 16s on as small a field as possible......

HTR, Yep scheduled OB1 @1pm. I would have thought they could have swapped the 16As with 5th grade game which is played on Johnson @ 9 am or 9ths played same field at 8 am  Agree with earlier comments re OB fields. For the standard of Rugby played on them they are not acceptable sized...

I stand corrected and my apologies to the B and W army. "Measure twice cut once". You may well be right re U14. I suspect that New may have had a lot of boys young for their age who ended up playing up with their school mates who would now be in year 11. Looking forward to next saturday...

I cant fault your logic CNP. Only tweak from my perspective would be move Cameron to 11 or 14, move Easy to 13 and bring Wellington or Lehmann into the centres.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2016

If Joeys win their remaining games, they will end up on 6 wins. Scots already have 6 wins, so for Joeys to share the bikkies, they will need Scots to lose all remaining games and Kings to only win 1 out of their remaining 3 games...
