Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

Unfortunately, as anyone involved in selection of even a far less rep squad can tell you - bias is rampant. People also see things differently. The fact that NSW played off for 1 and 2 in the championship means very little. In fact , NSW 1 were appalling in the final. Based off that game almost...

Australian Schoolboys & National Championships 2016

am watching nsw 1 vs nsw 2. This is a classic case of whatever could go wrong is goingfwrong for NSW 1. They look clueless and uninspired. Their backline is sluggish and devoid of options. NSW 2 killing them. Their defense is appalling and their lineout is amateurish. Should be a lot of NSW 2...

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2016

you could make a very good NRL team out of lads who have played Australian rugby schoolboys and then gone to mungo ball. Thats a great idea to hold them at the same time. Hopefully Ongosia commits to rugby rather than league.

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2016

So Adam Douiehi and Kieran Hayman are both out? Is that correct. When i watched the trials they looked good but both played like league players. Talented footballers for sure, but why go to the trials if your not available for NSW? Seems pointless. If just building a CV, well that while...

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2016

Unfortunately, Daniel won't be at the first day of trials due to family wedding. However, the selectors really must consider him. A born leader, technically excellent and the biggest heart I have ever seen. It would be a crime to not include him.....huge future ahead.

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2016

granted i haven't seen the ISA or GPS boys play but for back rowers the AICES 6 ,7 and 8 - Ben Francis, Daniel Darwall and Jahnneric Afele and the CCC 6 Bailey Antrobus would have to be in the mix there somewhere.

    AICES Rugby

The AICES U16 team had a great start to its campaign for 2016. First up they played CHS II and in a great display took out the honours with a late penalty goal 3 - 0. Great players (and ones who hopefully get at least noted by NSW selectors) for the team was the captain and skillful 7 Daniel...

NSW Schools - Trial Games and Selections 2016

Saw the AICES vs CHSII game at Hills Grammar. CHS ended up winning 34 - 0 in a waterlogged odd game that never really hit the heights. AICES despite their enthusiasm and effort suffered from a distinct lack of size. The CHS forwards and wingers just continuously hit it up the middle and made big...

    AICES Rugby

AICES First XV 2016 - another great team to build upon the great results of 2015. Returning is quite a few members of the very successful AICES Under 16 team of 2015 including NSW U17 Gold team members Ruben Vermark and the speedster Liam Kelly. Several AICES first XV members from 2015 are also...

    AICES Rugby

AICES U16's 2016 - this squad has a lot of talent in it. If anything it looks at least the equal of the 2015 cohort. Maybe better. Special players to watch in it are the returning flyhalf from 2015 - Sam Gray, the centres Mackenzie Kay and Jackson Forde who are strong, agile and fast, the back...

    AICES Rugby

Harrison Stein - 2 year sabbatical from rugby to concentrate on school Philip Fine - shadow player Lachlan Northey - shadow player Lakopo, Max Swanenberg, - were missing, Lakopo wasn't at the CSSA trial either. Definetly big losses here. Tariro - there were way better players

The AICES selection trial will have Opens - CSSA, HZSA and a Barbarian squad with players from all over the state involved. About 60 boys trialing. U16's - CSSA, HZSA, HRIS and a barbarian team as well. About 80 boys trialing in this age group. 25/5/16 at TJ Milner

    AICES Rugby

As there isn't a AICES 2016 folder yet, i will post in here i guess. The CSSA 2016 team has been picked and there are some solid players from all over the state. returning is the 2015 AICES First XV Captain Aron Peters from Parkes Christian and some AICES open and u16 players from 2015 - Jesse...

    AICES Rugby

Unfortunately not. With the nature of most AICES schools it is very hard to field a fifteen players in any age group. this carnival was cancelled on Monday morning. There were 2 teams only in the opens and 3 in the fifteen's. It has been run previously with Nowra Anglican, William Clarke amongst...
