Some of the posts on here re AIC selections are dreamers ... I am old and have seen this stuff for years ... if St Eds win the comp (as I expect they will) they will get the most players in AIC selections (combined I & II), if Marist & St Peters finish second they will get about the same number...

Yes I will agree with that ... Ashgrove did defend tenaciously so full credit to them for that ... It is just that I am accustomed to Ashgrove teams that appear well drilled (and this side did not) and with real sting in attack (and this side did not) ..

Maybe a bit harsh however I don't know of injuries and so on, I am just calling it as I see it. I guess I am just used to seeing the Ashgrove teams from about 1997 to 2006 and most of those teams would have thrashed the Ashgrove team I saw yesterday (and St Laurences too).
