My nephew is in that age group. Nothing special with the arrival of new boarders - view always takes in new boarders in year 10. The 16’s team is largely unchanged compared to earlier teams, the big change has been the coaching.

Anyone know much about Newington’s wet weather facilities? My boy is meant to be playing early in the morning on Johnson 1 but I’m a bit concerned about the forecast wet weather. Is anyone able to tell me whether or not they reckon the games will be on?

It’s pretty black and white to me. No spectators allowed other than officials and players (including reserves). There’s no way Kings needed the whole 2nd XV to back up for their 1’s. Also, if schools aren’t allowed choir performances at graduation ceremonies, how can they think it’s acceptable...

Agreed, rules are rules. Although I think home students should be able to spectate, until that is the agreed rule across all GPS schools, it is not fair that Kings students are able to watch the match, cheering and singing. Also, on a side note, some of the stuff I heard coming out of that...

Fair enough. I was surprised to hear the volume of the crowd at Kings. It sounded like there were a lot of students watching... not sure how that works especially seeing as the Kings headmaster was publicly spearheading the movement to get the competition back up and running.
