Can’t explain Churchies point but looks like the algorithm sorts by alphabetical order rather than percentage. Basically this is just another spectacular failure by RA administration. Get onto the the junior RL or AFL websites and their results pages are fantastic in comparison. #sackraelene

Heard today that out of 35 games scheduled to be played between NC and GT tomorrow that only 10 will have contested scrums.

State High's pack is very good and will match it with most in the comp - the front row is massive. They were only down by 7 with less than three minutes to go in the first half against Nudgee. Their problem has been defending the set piece and both IGS and NC scored at will in this scenario...

Their first try on the weekend was ok and the other 2 certainly had help from the man in orange. GV's tries against TGS were soft. They appear to panic with ball in hand and rather than be patient with possession seem to want to give the ball away before the fifth tackle - wrong game boys...

Deano, yeah nah.....they missed their only chance for a win in round 1 against TGS. A big duck egg for GT this year - not sure if that's ever happened before.

Unfortunately there was a lad from Churchie injured in the 16A’s. I’m not sure on how the incident occurred but he is still in hospital. Best wishes to him, his family and teammates.

Uncontested scrums in 14A’s is not a high standard. BBC need to held to account for stretching this rule.

TGS did exactly the same thing in the 15A's which made them very quick right across the park. Needless to say they came home with a wet sail when you would expect the forwards to be tiring.

Has anyone had any luck setting up the GPS comp on the Rugby Xplorer app yet? I have found individual teams but can't link it through to a comp that would show fixtures and a ladder.

So does no 13A this year equate to no first XV in 2023? I'm sure Marist Ashgrove would be happy to take their place in the GPS field.

Didn’t see too many new faces in the Nudgee team during the trials and haven’t seen TSS this year so can’t offer any sort of opinion on them, but they were pretty ordinary last year. BBC’s “Amarda” arrived early on and for mine are the team with the most pressure on them to perform. Looking at...

BSHS have the best front row in the comp and they're too big, too fast, too skillful for the rest. I would imagine they'll go through undefeated. Nudgee have the best 12/13 combo, BBC 10 is the man and they have a few handy loose forwards as well. GT's scrum will surprise many given their lack...

BBC beat Churchie by two tries and BGS got up over TGS. My predictions for this group 1.BSHS 2. NC 3. BBC 4. GT 5. IGS 6. ACGS 7. BGS 8. TGS 9. TSS First XV in 2021 is shaping up to be a very close year.

Without a head coach or any sign of a rugby program until early term 2 it's hardly a surprise that GT were ripped apart. Heard IGS have an U15 behemoth who exceeds the height and weight restriction for the age group and is lining up in the 1st/2nds with some equally large mates. IGS will...

Looks like GT are big improvers in under 15 age group and BBC having lost one match by(by 3 points)over last 3 years - slipping back.Expect a new look TSS as well. In 14 As -Nudgee with 4 new Met North payers will be big improvers. Agree, this BBC team appears to be on the slide. They're a...

BBC made a comeback against a big yet unfit BSHS but gave up too many points early. GT beat IGS, but like BSHS, the Swich were also under strength due to RL commitments. BGS were stretched by Downlands but still got the chocolates. Hard to get a read on this age group after these matches, but it...

At this stage of the preseason that most schools are only running with an A/B program, with the might C's to E's kicking off their campaigns next term. The numbers participating still seem healthy enough but I guess we won't have a true indication until round 1. The BBC V GT 15A trial on...

TSS had obviously done a lot of homework on GT and easily met their every move. GT basically played a 15 man backline constantly spreading the ball from one side to the other without making any advantage. A few simple pick and drives from them would have paved the way for easy points. The game...

Roy, Roy, Roy, clearly your brown and gold coloured glasses are a little bit blurry old chap because from what I can see the St Peter's round was quite disastrous for your beloved Padua. With only 9 wins from the 26 on offer one could hardly call it a success - a farce really. And that...
