I don't think that offer was ever on the table from the SRU. It would have been something to consider. However, a couple of years back the club asked to play Colts 1 & Colts 3 and were told no that it had to be colts 1 & 2. So I don't think we would have got a favorable hearing.

There's no set rule that Goddard must pull out of the NSW u16 schools (or be replaced) the decision to withdraw lies with the player. However, over the years players picked for Australian Schools have normally withdrawn from the 16's programme due to the clash of dates and training etc. NSW...
