So at this stage there are 14 sides in Division 5 and 6. 6 North of the bridge, 6 South of the bridge, 1 North West-Renegades and 1 West-Raptors. Options....... A 14 side competition with the option of running a 2nd grade. A North and South competition with Renegades and Raptors each added...

Lane Cove had a competitive hitout on Saturday against Camden and St Pats 2nd grade sides. Another trial on Saturday week with Manly Savers and Chatswood. Had roughly 25-30 at training each week but our major issue is a lack of shorter stature, bigger boned, lack of neck length, angry demeanour...

Yep. Scrum half and tight head. Tight head one of the best i've played against this year. Hell of a palm too.

Lane Cove defeated Convicts 44-19 today to put us right back in amongst to Top 4. The morbidly obese lady hasn't started warming up her voice yet for Convicts but i guess it will come down to two things-will Dukes want to play a mid-week make up game against Convicts (unlikely) and the round 14...

As a player who was on the field for Lane Cove during this game I agree with the past few posts of Laura and will also let the judiciary do its job.

MERRYLANDS v Lane Cove - Merrylands at home are impressive, with an average home winning margin of 37. Covies are fit and young so it'll be a fascinating clash, but I don't think the men from Tantallon have quite enough firepower. Cracking game at Merrylands today. Lane Cove up by 15-0 at...

Division 4 draw up on Subbies website. Looks like Menai are sticking with Division 5.

There is substance to that rumour from what i saw. Fairly close to having a full side on the side lines when their trials were on. Whether that number of players can sustain two sides over a full season is another question. Maybe an optional second grade side is a better bet as per last season...

5 way trial between Chatswood, Dee Why, Dukes, Lane Cove and Wakehurst. Conditions where tough for the first few games but by mid afternoon had cooled down significantly. I would say that all the sides generally were fairly even. Bit had to gauge how things are going when the games were only 20...

To be honest (generally, i'm a compulsive fibber) not too sure of the mechanics of last years Colts age groups as not involved with the admin but to go from two sides to barely one is disappointing. The Colts sides of previous years have served and benefited the club in feeding the seniors. A...

That's going to be a bugger to sort out. Would be interested to hear from any of Roseville's or Terrey Hill's former players as to what the go is. Anywho, there's a trial 5-some going down at Wakehurst tomorrow arvo between Chatswood, Dee Why, Dukes, Lane Cove and Wakehurst. From a...

Speaking as a player at Lane Cove pre-season numbers have been solid. I would suggest at this stage we have the numbers to field two Grade sides and continue in Division 5 without the use of Colts. Although not being within the inner sanctum of the club I believe one of the goals the club has...
