Yeh I think Kellaway is purely the 3rd choice 15 and the 2nd choice bench utility. If Banks is injured of performs poorly Hodge will be 15 and then Kellaway will jump into that 23 spot as he can cover a lot of positions, otherwise he’s last in line for the wing spots.

    Rebels 2022

Front 5 to improve with Philip coming through and the guys already there been a year older (Pone, Eloff, Uelese, Hosea) all 24 or younger. Back row solid 9, 10, 12 sorted Just the 13 and outside backs are a major concern. No Koroibete, no idea what’s happening with DHP, etc. Hodge will fill a...

Australian Bid for 2027 World Cup

USA Chairman has stated that the longer the lead up the better, so as is, that would lead me to believe that 2027 - Aus and 2031 - USA is the most likely. Apparently a potential England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland bid might be the spanner in the works if they go ahead with it.

Super Rugby T-T R5: REBELS v CRUSADERS (NOW IN SYDNEY)

Honestly think the system is letting them down. 80% of players now will go back to club rugby where running it out from your 22 is encouraged and you can be later to the ruck to clean out. Kicks are frowned upon and our 10s look like wizards without the need to tactically drive the team around

    Reds 2021

This year we actually play kiwi teams more (5 games) than we did in the previous incarnation of Super Rugby (4 games). We are also on track to have the worst points differential for a round after been exposed for 5 weeks.

Super Rugby T-T R5: REBELS v CRUSADERS (NOW IN SYDNEY)

Disappointing result and truth be told we were smashed. But there was some takeaways from the game.

Nope never played rugby until 7s. Was a South Sydney Rabbitohs development player before been let go. Played a bit of 9 and 15 for Randwick last year and looked pretty decent

Maurice Longbottom to fill that back up 9 / bench utility spot??? Would love to see an NRC to see if he could make it

Wouldnt mind bringing Benny Taps home to Melbourne to finally play a season where he grew up. Could be a good squad option for centre spots kinda like how Hanson has been for the hooker role this season.

Super Rugby T-T R5: REBELS v CRUSADERS (NOW IN SYDNEY)

I’d be happy if we just prevent the Crusaders from winning another bloody trophy lol

Super Rugby T-T R5: REBELS v CRUSADERS (NOW IN SYDNEY)

Yep, if we can get 1 player that looks like they can make the grade from the untested players from today, then that’s a positive for next season.

Lomani I believe is fielding offers elsewhere next season. Be interesting to see who is been lined up as a 3rd scrum half. Would be great to see Lomani in the Fijian Super Rugby side Ben Meehan?

    Wallabies 2021

I think Sio might be in a bit of trouble for retaining his spot. For me Robertson (been better this year), Bell (the future) and Slipper (the premier choice) are all out playing him. Foutiaka has also had a pretty decent TT comp.

    Wallabies 2021

Lonergan surely will get a go, has been outstanding with a point of difference. BPA - currently the best option Fainga'a - looks like he’s slipping down the order even at Brums Uelese - had a solid TT but not good enough to push ahead of others Porecki - injured but even then only been solid...

    Aussie Player Exodus

We can scratch Lopeti Timani from Aussies abroad mentions in the future, he’s nominated to play for Tonga in the Olympic 7s tournament along with Fekitoa. So will qualify for a switch through the Olympic loophole

    TT R5 Hurricanes v Reds Friday 5:05PM

When tackled you are allowed 1 movement to promote the ball in any direction. 99% it’s back. The Tupou no try was the correct call as Tupou propelled himself along with his one movement allowed. He picks his weight up and then promotes it.
