Dalton's tackle on Rorke was a game changer. Cant wait to watch the reply Sidesteppa. Thank you so much for making the effort to get down there and video the game. It was a big crowd and challenging logistically I can imagine

Rich_e none that I have found. I hope that a View or Joe boy is bored with HSC studies and wants to "burley the waters". C'mon guys, hurry up only 3 sleeps before the match! Here is the last "pump up" launched by Riverview before the "trial" on 3rd June 2017. Looking at the old footage...

No not at all, its a terrific atmosphere. Rugby Survivor was spot on Don't be overawed by the crowd. Service is quick and the beers are cold. They also serve wine and champagne. Old Boys do a great job and they even supply complimentary hot food. A great venue with a great post match...

Ha ha, very good Rich_e. Joeys have their Winter sports Rally (speech day for sport) on this Saturday night and they celebrate the success of all teams, even soccer . The pennants are keenly sought after and reward for effort from the boys. They have 4 rallies a year; Summer, Rowing...

Yep agree SDW. Both teams no doubt keen to taking bragging rights. Having dominated their trial encounter and 2 narrow losses against Scots and Kings, Joeys would be favoured. But who knows with Schoolboy Rugby! Views Angus Bell played GPS1 against CAS and CHS according to GPS website...

First XV kicks off at 3.15. There is angled parking on the perimeter of the park but a warning. road works have reduced the amount available. Unless you get there before 1, you will be disappointed if you want to park at the ground. My tip would be to park in the streets on the other side...

Subject to the format of the 2018 comp, I think Scots would be favourites. Kings and Joeys have a number of players in year 11 and given how tight the contests have been between these 3 this year the difference may be who hosts matches in 2018.

There were a couple of other howlers during the game as well (albeit not as bad as the one you refer to) the look of bemusement/embarrassment on Angus Bell's face when awarded the try was a classic! Oh well you take them when you can get them.;) Thankfully as you say the match didn't hang on...

On Saturday Shore had their worst defensive result in the 122 years of competition between Shore and Joeys, conceding 66 points. If there is any "positive" for Shore, they scored more points against Joeys than they have since 2010 (when they last beat Joeys).

Suspect Joeys will try to play a fast paced game. There is some serious pace in that backline. Joeys have a very mobile forward pack as well. Looking forward to seeing Tom Eveleigh back from injury. He and Scolari are very strong defenders.
