What was the Waverley v Knox u16 score in game 2 when it counted ? Was it a touch up or did I miss something ?

9 (wav) Reece Thorn 12 (wav) Max Towns 15(wav) ? Looked very impressive in the highlights. Max Towns was also very impressive when he played against the talented Dom Easy in the Cas v Pres A game , never gave an inch and probably a bit unlucky to be over looked for NSW selection considering...

If HM players = less team success , maybe you should pass your thoughts on to the coaches when ur in camp with the nsw 16s. I'll be interested to hear the coaches thoughts on this and also their opinion of Max Lehman and Albert Hopoate once they have had the chance to work with these boys ,and...

XV and can play IV ,V or VIII , I'm sure Brian Smith knows his best position, if NSW selectors don't.

He was a standout, can play several positions but selectors think differently. Some of the selections including HM players I find interesting to say the least. Anyway good luck to Will on Saturday when he plays XV for Scots against Kings great achievement and will certainly hold his own.

Is there any correlation between playing Harold Matts and Nsw u16s ? On this forum it seems no correlation but the selectors must see different 9 out 25 players played/trained for HM ,must be some correlation wouldn't you think .

Not a bad effort for Manly HM. to get 6 players in the NSW u16s team out of 25. But "seriously "what would I know, only that 9/25 players selected for NSW played/trained for HM this year, that might tell u something . SG ball training has now started for next year if this helps.

I was only commenting on what I watched today which was forward dominance in general play, total scrum dominance with several tight heads and line out control, im sure the selectors would of noticed this after their supposed suggested changes to the Cas team. I'm sure the selectors would also...

Pres A 23 - Cas 14, great days rugby watched by all. Pres A forwards were far superior in scrums and line outs and controlled the game , with the front row outstanding and with ball in hand very damaging setting a good platform for their backs which were not nearly as sharp as previous games ...

Wasn't to long ago u were very uncomplimentary about the scots u16s forward pack , u will find in the next couple of years Harris and WIlliams both Pres A players being the "new" upcoming stars and no they don't play HM .

Good to see I'm not not a bad judge Harris , Williams and Wellington selected in Pres A , Baker and Zylstra in Pres B . Interestingly this year Baker been standout back ,either centre or full back for Scots 2IV and Wellington has filled in re injury's if needed for 2IV but has been good. IMO...

Your probably right, the 7 boys selected from Presidents A and Cas A who all played HM this year must of all really worked extra hard on there rugby as well as 6 months solid HM training to gain selection in there respective schools teams. TIme to enjoy the new players coming thru rather than...

Interestingly 3 of the starting Presidents A backs all played Harold matts league this year and not club/rep rugby this year (Bell ,Simi and Welington ) of which 2 of these the 3 boys could not get a start in there selected first HM team. What does that say of the standard of current club/rep...

Exactly my point ,these HM players have been identified when playing both codes in previous years and are some of the most talented kids around hence when club rugby falls away after u15 u have a new influx of players which rep selectors start looking at , compared to the same names who have...

Hopefully you can persuade ur Cas u16 coaches to change their mind and drop the 4 Harold Matt players they have selected in the Cas starting lineup to give a "a boy whose focus is solely on playing Union" a game, that would be greatly appreciated by the GPS coaches IMO.
