I'm guessing MCA would have had a few reps in the QLD Schools Teams had they decided to let their boys make themselves available - but they didn't But realistically , where do you think this year's MCA team could have / should have had representation for their players ? Who would they have...

So long as a student attends a school they need their HM’s permission to play in a QSSS event For whatever the perceived advantages were GPS Schools ( and MCA in their quest to be the most dominant AIC Team in 15 years * ahem , cough , cough * ) -chose to support the QRU / Reds desire for...

I would - but in another masterstroke of management genius they were put out of business by RA And its GODA from now on....yes it is

I am not sure how the State Championship format through QSS excluded opportunity to participate and be identified if you were a kid from Peninsula or Central Queensland or wherever. The existing format already provided for the casting of a net over the entirety of QLD School Sport. It was...

    Isn't Tevita Katuu ( last year's 2 ) doing Medicine ?

    Australian Schoolboys / Under 18s 2019

Yes they did I find your phrasing interesting though. Perhaps more fully amplified is that they , collectively , were very obliging as to the Reds wishes that the State Championships weren't to be for the GPS and AIC boys - driven by the thought that all boys from the main line Brisbane...

Although I’m not sure why only 14 x 18 year olds ( out of a match day 23 ) have been chosen in the Reds U18 Team to play the Rebels U18 team on Sunday - with 2 x 16 year olds lacing up the boots Wasn’t a large part of the initial reasoning based around narrowing the age discrepancy that...

Well I didn't really say anything but I think at least one of your choices in what you are saying is spot on.

Glad that Christian Torluccio got a deserved gong . One of the more underrated and silent achiever outside backs running around in the AIC Competition this year. Well done fella.

Seems as though forward dominance was the name of the game in the trial between TSS v IGS at Ipswich last night as TSS towelled up the Ipswegians Y'know the conventional wisdom is that you need the best 10 in the comp to win blah blah blah ..but without diminishing the importance of that...

When did Jim become Jimmy ? Irrespective of arguments between starters and bench I don't think there is too much to argue about in the selection of the 23. I reckon its pretty much spot on

I am pretty sure you already know the answer to that. You don’t need me to answer it for you

    QLD GPS Rugby 2019

If there is an ish with the switch it isn’t their backline defense. They’ll have a few of the best back defenders running around (King , Krause and Thomas - and King Smith is pretty handy also) And they’ll be put to work against the better teams quite a bit. How much ball they’ll get , and...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2019

Ethan King , Seamus King Smith , Christian Krause and (likely) Kedan Chung Tan complete the staple of one of the two best backlines in GPS Rugby this year ( if all healthy ) Ethan King especially I already have as the most underrated back in the competition. He’s absolutely for real

Actually this will be very telling ( depending on who is available ) TSS are the owners of one of the best two forward packs in the competition v IGS that are the owners of one of the best two backlines in the competition This is probably THE most intriguing match up of the preseason
