BBC vs GT.......could be a good game?

With a grain of salt.....Are any other schools apart from BBC and GT even aware of G&GR? I swear to god, in the last few years I have never heard anything from a NC, TGS, IGS, or TSS posters. Not knocking the BBC and GT comments but why don't the other schools get in on the fun to the same...

Not a reply to you murphy, but back to one of my earlier posts about how good the QLD GPS comp is. I just wish the Sanix youth competition was held at the end of our season.

Hopefully, but I think a small crowd with lots of empty seats and the majority of the seats taken will be expats. Rugby 15s or rugby league won't take off here regardless of player numbers. The NFL, NHL, NBA and baseball have a stranglehold on the American team sports mentality and won't let go...

So, its now down to Nudgee, TSS, or Churchie as far as outright or shared winners. I think Churchie could drop another vs BBC, but may not and may also beat one of the other 2. But realistically 2 horse race.

And lets not forget TGS or IGS. They could both spring booby traps. GT, BGS, and BSHS to only win against each other.

Way to close to call an undefeated team so far, though if you put a gun to my head I would say Nudgee, but at this point......geez ACGS have a habit of having that one great game vs nudgee, nudgee to pip TSS and BBC as a wildcard that could beat or lose against anyone.

I still have a feeling that Nudgee, Churchie and TSS will all drop a game, probably against one another. BBC may beat Nudgee and/or Churchie and should beat GT and BSHS. Three way tie seems a very serious possibility (just like 1954 for BBC)

All the above is true, but lets not be too harsh on the BGS boys, they recruit less than any other school. Chances are more BGS old boys will be doing a lot better financially/career wise in five years than the Nudgee lads.

Speak quietly and carry a big stick is the theme for all 1st 15 teams this years on the GAGR I guess. I can respect that. It seems like the forum has grown up a bit. I have a sneaking suspicion that no team will go through undefeated this season.
