That wasn't a shot at anyone in this thread by the way. More to do with experiences in the past, and people who knew full well that we sold grog and took the 'save $10 route' for lack of a better term.

Sadly, there's always a dickhead who does this. Althought I have been to some grounds that don't sell it, and were happy for us to bring a few beers.

This is fine in theory if you have numbers coming out your wazoo. The reality for many clubs is very different.

A 'spirited crowd' is never a bad thing. You certainly don't see them at a tahs or wallabies game.

Wollondilly are a good little club. They're stuck between Campbeltown, Camden and Bowral though. If a young guy has a bit of talent, he either gets picked off by one of those sides, or the player wants to go and play first grade and leaves.
