The BBC/GT game on the weekend was...
Yes Gilmore is a champion. With DOR Nucifora leaving next year & Gilmore the year after, big shoes to fill at Churchie rugby. Strong links to Easts club also go with them - the current ACGS firsts have at least 5/6 who have played from u13s at Easts & school - strong bonds.
Congrats to the S&C...
RE: Monday's Expert, Aug 17, 2013. #1692
...Since 2003, there have been about 4-5 draws between TSS and ACGS. I thought the loss of Mason and his direction would have told - and it seemed to have. macMillan must have taken the first half to get his second wind and then added some spark in the...
Can anyone please help me with a general GPS rugby qn ?
(following on from Tooms & DShark's posts on GPS statisics/websites pages ago)
Is this the correct link most use to follow their GPS team's results/ladder or is there another website...
Mafi was injured in Qld GPS Round 3 9th Aug against BBC. He popped a shoulder in a tackle, it was popped back in on the field then he ran back to a scrum as though nothing happened...gutsy kid. Came off after that & missed Round 4 16 Aug against ACGS. I don't know his current injury status.
I've heard the remaining 3 spots for Aus Schools are finalised:
Harley Fox, Anglican Church Grammar School Qld
Izack Rodda, Ipswich Grammar Qld
Izaia Perese, Anglican Church Grammar School Qld
Congratulations to these boys

Digby, I was a bit concerned after your comments, so I went back to the GT-BBC trial video to just look at defence/linebreaks through the 10s/12s/13s of both sides.
Clean linebreaks by all the 10/12/13s of 10m+ , when defensive lines were set, was approx. BBC 11 & GT 4. Your "no punch" theory...
I try to follow the different codes a bit to see who/what/where - eg my qn a while back re Moseley AFL or rugby #15/10 for NC etc - he's a talented kid. Edwards & RL - nope.

Bring on Round 1
love the report SH - except for the last line - genuine Premiership contenders don't care who they play - they just love to compete/beat everyone! I suspect the dread/nerves may be from the supporters in the stands.
