Heard a rumor that Jarrod Homan won't be fit for Nudgee this week, shoulder still munted. Huge news. Can anyone confirm.

They are a well coached team. They went wide early on the weekend and for a while almost lost to TGS. They don't have Howarth or Mason Gordon this year. Playing to the outside is a suicide mission against Nudgee's outside backs. Mapa, Toia, Their 12 (who's name escapes me) are some of the best...

Tips for the weekend GT vs BSHS - BSHS in an absolute bloodbath despite Joe Liddy's best efforts to level the playing feild. BGS vs IGS - Don't even need an analysis. Automatic win for IGS. Grammar would struggle to beat the longreach under 11's! ACGS vs TSS - If it wasn't for NC vs BBC...

I 100% agree. Whilst the primary goal of a school is academics, the GPS is primarily a sporting institution. You need to be in the GPS to be considered the best at sport, but you don't need to be in the GPS to be the best at academics. Their basketball program is an absolute joke as well, they...

Early emergence of a possible GPS First XV: 1. Carsen Patu (TSS) 2. Oahu Davey Phillips (NC) 3. Massimo De Lutiis (TSS) 4. 5. Daniel Maiava (NC) 6. Joe Liddy (Terrace) 7. Zac Hough (BBC) 8. Tom Wheen (BBC) 9. Willem Johnstone (NC) 10. 11. Jarrod Homan (BBC) 12. Taj Annan (BBC) 13. Robert Toia...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

Wow, TSS thumped BGS... Who would have expected.... BGS have for a while been, and are again this year a free win for the top half of the table. What vendetta do you have against BBC? How on heavenly earth can you call it a one man team. One man teams don't win at GPS level... Especially...
  7. The Raging Potato 23

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

Agreed, Toia is a menace, one of the best talents in GPS. Him vs Homan will be big. Homan only now coming back after a shoulder injury which happened in the first round of trials against NC. Hough has to be in the conversation for not only best player in GPS, but one of the best schoolboy...
  8. The Raging Potato 23

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

Annan would undoubtedly be the best fullback at BBC but there is no one to play 12 if he shifts to fullback. BBC fullback, Blake Davis, played well against a quality TGS side. In my opinion, the backline against NC should be: 9) Peron Faimalo 10) Harry MP (Moana Pasifika) 11) Delacruz Ripley 12) Taj Annan 13)...

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

What we can take away from BBC vs TGS today. TGS are not a 'free win' like they have been in the past. Certainty contenders for top half of the table. If it wasn't for Hough, BBC lose today. Best on ground by a country mile. Annan looked uncomfortable at 10. Shoutout to the 13 from BBC, kid is...

Toia is playing tommorow. NC Team list for Rd 1 vs BSHS 1) Macarius Pereira 2) Oahu Davey-Phillips 3) Natiana Winikerei 4) Charlie Stack 5) Daniel Maiava 6) Cooper Cameron 7) Patrick Dallimore 8) Liam Le Blanc 9) Willem Johnstone 10) Byron Smith 11) Oska Boyd 12) Tony Fuimaono 13) Robert...

J Homan from BBC injured this week - Will be back for Nudgee round. No real backup 13 for BBC, may be a problem.........
  13. The Raging Potato 23

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

Friendly reminder that BBC rested a large portion of their 'more experienced' players. It's the final trial game, coaches should (hopefully) have everything figured out by now. But I agree, it will take a huge effort for BBC to get over NC.
  14. The Raging Potato 23

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

or at props/or at fullback. But hey you have enough talent for 3 backrows-play them on the wings .But as TSS showed-your scrum is in deep shit and no speed out wide. With HMP return, Taj Annan heading back to fullback (but hey, you must be right old man, Annan must be new to first XV...
  15. The Raging Potato 23

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

BBC have 4,6,7,8,9,11,12,15 all returning starters. Uhila Senituli (2) played about half of the games last year, but was second option. BBC big problem this year is no talent on the wings.

BBC or Nudgee for the prem this year? Let me know why
  17. The Raging Potato 23

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

BBC fielding a very weak team against TSS. Taj Annan, Harry MP (Moana Pasifika), Nick Matauiau, Jarrod Homan all missing from backline.
  18. The Raging Potato 23

    QLD GPS Rugby 2021

Huge call to leave Jarrod Homan (BBC) out of the team, hard to beat his athleticism and size. Also, considering stowers is gone i'd replace him with Lington Leli from BBC. Yet to play a first XV game due to injury but was first choice 8 for BBC last year. Easily one of the best ball running...

Ladies and gentleman I present to you the GPS First XV (yes i'm aware it's preseason and spots will definitely change) 1. Carsen Patu (TSS) 2. Oahu Davey-Phillips (Nudgee) 3. Lington Leli (BBC) 4. 5. 6. 7. Zac Hough (BBC) 8. Tom Wheen (BBC) 9. 10. Syris Schmit (TSS) 11. Jarrod Homan (BBC) 12...
