I concur with this interpretation of the events. Looking at the replay again it does seem that placid was late enough to the ball that he did not jump which does indicate a breach of 10.4 (i). Any news on Placid? I hope he didn't injure himself too badly.

In that incident both players are off the ground. In this incident there is one player airbourne and the second enters and removes the legs.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I see it like this, the Force get pasted just about every week of the super rugby year. Don't get me wrong I love it when we win, and I go to every game hoping for the best. Our biggest weakness is a consistent failure to beat teams that are lower (kings)...
