    CAS Rugby 2013

Worth noting, that at the Barker rugby presentation dinner last week, Tyson Davis was singled-out for having played 50 games for the school 1st XV (no repeating, no pathways) A great achievement in any school competition

    Waratah Shield 2013

That's the point, Auggies may find themselves up against it a bit!

    Waratah Shield 2013

So many extra schools would sign-up to play knowing that the final had that sort of exposure each year!!

Defence, as it is nowdays the attacking teams can spend a lot of time in the oppositions 1/2, therefore, if they are not getting anywhere, a perfect opportunity to slot 3 points.

    NSW AAGPS Rugby 2013

Raised this discussion on CAS. In the final round last Sat, Barker No10 slotted a field goal, in the seasons results this was the one and only F/G for the year across the whole comp, why is this easy 3 points not utilised more at this level of rugby?

    Waratah Shield 2013

Ouch, two tough losses for Knox in less than a week, Barker rolled them in the final round of CAS on the previous Saturday. I read it somewhere but now can't find it, is the final being played at Forshaw again?? Yep - read back a few pages to see the date and time, which I can't remember at...

Change of coaching may also be an important factor, is there any rumors, speculation out there??

    CAS Rugby 2013

Worth highlighting, that in the Barker vs Knox game, Dave Smerdon (B10) snuck a field goal over, and looking at the results table, that seems to be the one and only F/G of the year!! Why is this easy 3 points not utilised more often at this level of rugby??

    CAS Rugby 2013

Congratulations to Barker for their win on Saturday, and retaining the CAS outright championship for a consecutive year. Congratulations to both the Knox and Barker supporters, they absolutely made the day with positive and continual barracking! My guess would be that there was at least...

Going to a final round rugby match, would be my wife's first choice birthday present, you should have done better research before saying "I do";)

    CAS Rugby 2013

Congratulations, best post on this thread for the last week! I do need to also compliment the Waverley backs, I saw at least three occasions where the Barker backs had space and unmarked men but somehow, Waves got them covered. Special mention to the sub, No22 or 23? I think, several times I...

    CAS Rugby 2013

When I saw that the Barker player was on today, I asked around, the story I got, was that it all came down to the ref's report, so either he retracted or cast doubt on the original decision. Hopefully that is satisfactory!

    CAS Rugby 2013

Thanks for clearing that up. I heard the word "judiciary" mentioned in the crowd on Saturday and assumed that was the way it went. Good to see that it has been unnecessary in the past and would be even better to keep it that way.

    CAS Rugby 2013

So Rugby Ref, you would know the result of the judicial hearing on Monday night, what was the result???

    CAS Rugby 2013

Thanks Hugh, but I think the best option is to just get rid of the offending comments asap, people will quickly learn. There are some great games coming up in the last two rounds, Barker has two "must wins", for the outright Premiership. This Sat, Barker vs Trinity & Cranbrook vs Knox...

    CAS Rugby 2013

Edited - LG Mate, don't be so pathetic, most people would assume that the coach would not have let them leave unless they had a very good reason!!
