I agree with your review of the SBHS 2nd XV vs. Joeys 5th XV match (I was the referee for the game) and both sides were a delight to referee; there were no issues with backchat or dissent - just good hard rugby played. Thanks for the clarification doublev, this explains the situation for me now - it appears a very unfortunate scenario has occurred that could have been prevented with some simple due diligence by the officials at the time the replacement hooker entered the field.
