Listening device found in All Black hotel

Gard, talking through his brief [not briefs] says (a) that he respects the All Blacks and everything they stand for, but (b)wants Shag subpoenaed. Woo. Pass the parcel!

Waratahs v Brumbies trial in Mudgee

Nice to know who the ed is! Tugs fetlock. [I tried to tug my forelock but I'm bald as a coot.]

Listening device found in All Black hotel

I have, and it is. Let's do some analysis. If the charges are right, the security guard both planted and discovered the device. Who benefits? Certainly not the ARU, if they paid him to snoop. That would be a triple blow: the loss of the bug, the loss of the information it would've provided...

Listening device found in All Black hotel

Not from the ground up no. No one makes up complex lies from scratch. Instead, they spiral out of control. I know. I lie all the time. I'm lying now. Spurious complexity isn't evidence an explanation is true, but that it's not.

The elephant in the room is a false flag operation to embarrass an opponent. If so, it would have had nothing to do with winning, only public humiliation. Look at the facts. The security guard is a serious professional, with a track record of protecting senior figures, including a US president...

    Wales v Australia

McMahon is a star right now.

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

3: Cooper. This is what we've been missing! Clinical passing to attacking runners in the deep. 2: Genia. Composure personified. 1: Horwill. A captain's knock. I hope next week's team reflects form.

    Play Skelton on the bench?

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

No, the concept of the impact sub is slightly more complex than that. Skelton is a good example of an impact sub. You make sacrifices in terms of technique to achieve gains in terms of dynamics. A very big, rangy lock with offloading capabilities is one example of this. He makes a real...

Australian Rugby's greatest day of shame....

And you get much more bang for your middleclass buck.

    Wallabies v Barbarians - 1/11/14 (Twickenham)

It should be an exciting game!

What we have is many tyro locks with excellent potential, but none yet performing near test level. Skelton is the closest, but only as an impact sub. Unfortunately our test standard locks are perennially broken, or gone overseas.
