    Like the new jersey.

Great final, gripping stuff all the way to the end. Ntamack’s try was something else

Qwerty raises an interesting question: does Hooper (M) make it to the RWC? I'm 50/50 on that. I think he might have finally run out of gas and others may overtake him this year.

I've not seen him play, so can't really make a judgement. I don't think I've got any access to coverage of French rugby. EDIT: Beg your pardon, I've got it on Kayo. Will watch that tomorrow.

Frost and Skelton for sure, Rodda if fit and probably Neville.

I'm also of the view that Wright isn't reliable enough at test level. Kellaway has rugby smarts, Wright doesn't.

Super Rugby 2023 SF: Chiefs v Brumbies

Yeah do either of these sides want to face the Crusadists next week?

Super Rugby 2023 SF: Crusaders v Blues

I can't recall too many more brutal and ruthless performances in a semi-final than that from the Cantabs. Jeepers, they smashed the Blues all over the park, got up in their faces, attacked the breakdown hard and forced mistakes. Wow.

Jeepers that's a power packed back five.

Sub Kellaway for Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) and that's some backline. I wouldn't be mad if Marky Mark (Nawaqanitawase) plays though.

That's the kind of thing that bring a squad together or it could be a Kamp Staalstraad situation or Adelaide Crows debacle. Hopefully it's the former.

    Western Force 2024

A few notable people in WA are rugby men.

Definitely, which is why I'm not getting my hopes up

If QC (Quade Cooper) and Kerevi are approaching their best we're a real shout to go deep in this tournament.

Oh me too. I've long felt that the NH comps would have a market led reckoning and it appears to have partially arrived. I do feel sad for the staff and fans of those grand old clubs though. I remember how it felt when the Force got cut from Super Rugby and our history is considerably shorter.

The comment was mostly in response to the bolded bit and reflective of the fact that other sports with a national footprint have the same challenges. I think the AFL, Cricket, Swimming and up until recently Netball have navigated the challenges of a dispersed player, club and supporter base...

Other sports seemed to have managed better and I acknowledge that plenty of people stick the boot into their CEO's as well.

Vale Wayne. One of the best rugby journos going around for mine. He will be missed.

I hope he makes a great success of it, because as rugby lovers in this country we all have a stake on that. It would be childish to death ride him just so you can say to everyone "I told you so". That doesn't mean I'm happy with the process, his lack of demonstrated CEO experience or that he's...
