    Rugby World Cup 2023

For me it wasn't about any particular incident, more the number of consecutive penalties in the red zone.

    Rugby World Cup 2023

Fair point WOB. I'd have to go back and watch the game again, but at the time I thought the AB's were lucky not have seen yellow in the first 10 minutes, such was the avalanche of penalties.

    Rugby World Cup 2023

I actually thought the AB's could have had blokes in the bin earlier than they did. There were a lot of penalties in their 22 in the first quarter of the game.

RWC 2023 - All Blacks pool matches

Barrett could be in real trouble for that filthy clean out on Marx.

    Wallabies 2023

Err, the French are quite good.

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

Yeah when better to play them than in a game Iike this and not a potential knockout stage clash

    France v Wallabies (RWC Warm-up), 28/8 1.45AM AEST

That's about as strong a side as we could put out right now and it's good to see Foketti and Gleeson get a run. France should be too strong, but they're also one of the RWC favourites, so that's as should be.

    Rugby World Cup 2023

Yes, Borthwick's selections and strategy are both good for the Wallabies.

I rate both of those guys. England are in real trouble here. I saw a comment from Will Greenwood (one of England's best ever IMHO) saying that it's looking like 2011 all over again for them. I agree.

RWC 2015: AUS v ENG (Twickenham)

Totally agree. The number of times he put a high shot or no arms tackle on are numerous. There's a reason why you can go on Youtube there are several Farrell lowlights videos. The guy is a sniper.

    Too many Tahs!

RWC 2015: AUS v ENG (Twickenham)

Yep. I was in England watching and remember Lynagh and Fitzpatrick debating in the studio about the severity of the foul play and Noddy was adamant that there should have been a red shown to one or both of the England players.

Apparently more injury worries for England: https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/aug/24/england-rugby-union-fiji-team-steve-borthwick Watson and Daly I've read.

I see this as a step in the right direction, though obviously some details will need to be worked out. We've got a great group of young players and two major events in this country in the next five years. If we grasp the opportunity now it shores up the future. If we squander it then the game...

John Muggleton. We had incredible defence back then.

July Internationals 2023 - matches not involving Australia

His goal kicking looks a little ropey

    Wallabies 2023

I don't mind this move at all. Hansen will undoubtedly have some ideas worth considering.

    Shute Shield 2023

haha, I got interviewed by the ABC once. I thought nobody watched it but one of my mates saw it and plastered it all over social media, damn him.

    Wallabies 2023

I think that might overstate it slightly, but without question I'm 100% behind this team. I'm also excited about where this current crop of youngsters might take us in the next few years.

It probably is as simple as that. We've got a goal of where we want the game to be in 2027, let's just work backwards from there and every decision will be in service of bringing that about
